Missing Person – Attempt to Locate
On October 20, 2018 at 10:45 p.m., the Police Department responded to 1033 Grove Street for a report of a missing person. The women who filed the report told officers that her boyfriend, Abumere A. Eromon, had not returned home from work and she was concerned for his well-being.

Investigators determined that Abumere A. Eromon was last seen leaving work in Aurora, IL, at 10:05 p.m. on October 20, 2018, driving a black 2009 Toyota Camry with Illinois Registration AB 34096. Abumere is 34 years old, 6’1”, 180 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue and white sweater.

Body of missing Downers Grove man found inside submerged car: police

A Downers Grove man reported missing last month has been found dead inside a car after it was pulled from a retention pond in the west suburb.

About 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a retention pond near Interstate 355 and Ogden Avenue and found a 2009 Toyota Camry submerged in the water, Downers Grove police said.

A body found inside the sedan was identified as 34-year-old Abumere Eromon, who had been missing since Oct. 20 when he failed to return home from work, according to police.
