I am surprised it's taking so long.
I sure hope they come back with a guilt verdict.

So he admits he committed a crime. Just a victimless one.

??

Its actually not victimless: if everything had gone his way, a random, innocent white man would have been convicted and had his life destroyed.

Also he’s set back race relations even further than they already are, and incited racial hatred in general.

I haven't seen any mention of them taking lunch. Wonder if that's a good sign that they may be close to a verdict?

I keep thinking the same thing--why is it taking so long???

I worry there's someone on there who's a holdout.

I know, sure hope not.

All they need to do is play the Dave Chappelle video from shortly after the fiasco happened. They'd reach a verdict in a NY minute.

I think they are all a bit nervous and want to make sure they cross their T's and dot their i's before they submit their verdict.

Thinking the possibility of a hold-out is why the defense did not accept a plea deal here. JMO.

I had doubts for a guilty verdict, yesterday. Thinking hung jury. Moo

They have every reason to be nervous. We've all seen how some folks react when a jury makes a decision they don't like. The threat of violence is very real here. Not the kind of pressure anyone wants to be under, knowing their decision could be blamed for criminal conduct (instead of blaming the criminals, as it should be).

I feel for this jury….I hope they find him guilty. Then I hope the jury gets home safe.

Jury too quiet.

All it will take is one vicious BLM fanatic who thinks that fair trials for alleged crimes are “white supremacy”

He LIED about a hate crime that happened to him. An event that he concocted and yet this is about “white supremacy”?! Makes me sick to my stomach with how WRONG this is

Well. We don't know exactly what evidence the jury is reviewing. It will be interesting if JS is found "Not Guilty". Will he expect an apology? Do a "I am a victim" tour as he started previously?

I am very interested if anyone is going to do a "deep dive" on the allegations that Don Lemon, of CNN told JS that he was a "POI", and not to give the police his phone.

CNN faces calls to fire Don Lemon over Jussie Smollett's court testimony

The longer it goes on the more I am worried about him getting away with it.

Also the show he will put on it found innocent , at least I’m in the UK so will he able to avoid it.

I have faith in this jury. I am hoping they are just taking their time to get it right so that they show that they have taken everything in to account. But I do worry a bit since they were already worried about being recognized for being on the jury. I do NOT want them to give a verdict based on fear.

It’s atrocious that this is something we have to worry about these days.
