Unbeknownst to him, brothers Abel and Ola Osundairo are being interviewed by police after returning from Nigeria.

February 20: Smollett is arrested and accused of lying to police.

He is bailed out on a $10,000 cash bond.

March 7: Grand jury indicted Smollett

March 26: Charges dropped

April 11: Chicago sues Smollett for $130,000 - the cost of the investigation

August: Dan Webb is appointed special prosecutor

November: Smollett counter-sues, alleging malicious prosecution

February 11, 2020: Reports emerge that Dan Webb has charged Smollett

Whoever is advising Smollett has done a terrible job. Smollett should have begged off, substance abuse, gone for treatment, done an apology tour, and potentially moved forward. Everyone loves a good apology tour.

The fact that he has continued to plead his innocence is the problem here.

i agree 100%.......... advice he's got is beyond horrendous......... some counselling and treatment and he could have done the Ellen show and asked for forgiveness. now, no way, i'd say

Just checked imdb.com (TV & movie data base) to see if Jussie S's name has popped on as lead on any newer TV shows or movies in production. Latest thing showing is still Empire 2015 - 2019.
