Mugshot released as Jussie Smollett's sentencing judge grants his wish for protective custody

Jussie Smollett also badly alienated the CPD (Chicago Police Department) in his faux plea deal - less than 20 hours of community service.I think it was both to protect him from other inmates and suicide. Keep in mind that it was Smollett and his team that requested this protection which was granted by the court.

IMO CPD was blindsided by Kim Foxx's deal with JS. CPD didn't find out about the 'plea deal' until they attended Kim Foxx's press conference where it was announced.
CPD is within Cook County Illinois. The guards that are 'protecting him' are Cook County LE.
Completely my opinion, I don't think he will be as safe in CCJ as we might assume.
This is JMO.
I’ll echo your scream! If I hear one more person refer to Jussies time in the county jail as a prison death sentence , I'm going to scream.
He'll end up doing 75 days in protective custody in the county jail.
Why is he not in prison orange like everyone else?

There was absolutely an attempted cushy deal of community service. JS completed less than 20 hours of community service (secretly). By secretly I mean the CPD and the press was unaware of this.Huh? Ultimately, there was no cushy plea deal of community service since he was indicted by the GJ, did go do on trial, was convicted, and now serving time.
I think the outcome of the trial erased the alleged animosity by CPD, and that they're pleased the hoax did not go unpunished. JMO
Following the hearing, I recall a reporter asked his grandmother about his "I'm not suicidal" comments and her response was that he likely said this to keep his family from worrying about him. More like reassurance.
I find people like Jussie Smollett, Sherry Papini, fascinating. They are successful people, attractive, and they deliberately do something stupid to completely mess up their lives.
Of course, the narcissism is a protective defense, because nothing is ever the fault of the narcissist.![]()
So whenever he is allowed to come out and watch TV and use the phone, no one else is allowed to do so? Isn't that going to piss off the other inmates even more?
How long can they give him that kind of elite treatment?
That's the first thing that came to my mind. Why wouldn't they have a different room? Maybe the reporter is wrong.
Jussie is seriously the epitome of everything unamerican. IMO I have zero sympathy and hope he gets everything has coming. No future acting, no early release, nothing…he has harmed everyone IMOHow dare JS throw down every ‘race card’ in order to stay out jail.
I’m black!
I’m gay!
I’m Jewish!
Well, now you are a felon too!
I suspect he won’t fare well on the mental health testing but I hope he gets to do every second of his sentence.
He is such a nobody, hope he has time to reflect on that fact.
And he is granted supervision and segregation which makes his exit from the courtroom look like he is already blaming jail staff for his potential demise whether black, gay or Jewish to further his victimization at the cost of other innocent human beings. His narcissism and outrageous behavior knows no bounds. IMO Again, shameful! He’s getting three hots and a cot. He’s got it made for now.
I watched a video of three of Jussie's siblings slamming judge Linn. What a bunch of delusional buffoons. I chuckle when I see Jussie walking arm & arm with his family, as if he's a civil rights icon on the march. Total clown show.
PS.. We don't hear anything from Jussie's brother, Jake. He's the one who Jussie threw under the bus in 2007.
Shouldn’t the thread title be undated to say “guilty” now?
