On the night of the encounter, Smollett landed at O'Hare after a long-delayed flight and his "creative director" picked him up. Abimbola called him around 12:45 a.m. to discuss scheduling a workout, Smollett said. "I told him I was on my way home, he knew that."

Let's say the brothers did decide, for some reason, to assault JS that night. Maybe because Ola was angry that his brother was going to gay bath houses with JS, etc...

If so, why would they buy red MAGA looking hat and a noose and yell MAGA COUNTRY while assaulting him? What would be the point of that whole thing?

And if it was them, wouldn't JS had recognised them?

lol, I'm sorry, but that^^^ BBM part just doesn't ring true to me. He hears someone call him the n-word and the Freakin 'F word, at 2 am, in a deserted section of the city, and sees it is someone 'massive' coming at him, And his response is 'what the **** did you say to me?

Sorry, but that sounds totally phony.

Other fishy parts of the story, AFTER this physical beat down by 2 massive MAGA attackers---Jussie still has his tuna fish sammie in hand when he arrives home.

Also, he said in his GMA interview that he was on the phone with his manager when he was attacked. But then later he says that his phone 'fell out of his pocket' during the attack.

Smollett slipped to the ground, there was a tussle, and Smollett's attacker got up. Smollett watched him run away, then noticed a second man running in the same direction, he says. He didn't get a good look at the second man.

"Smollett felt a kick to his right side when he was on the ground, indicating a second attacker, because the person who first punched him was on top of him tussling with him, he says."

Smollett is out of the witness box role-playing the role of his own attacker -- walking briskly in an intimidating way toward his defense attorney, who is role-playing as Smollett.

The next day Smollett called a CPD detective who was handling the case, because "I didn’t understand what all of these lies" the CPD spokesman was putting out there, he testifies. Smollett says police said he'd seen two men in red hats, which he's denying. "

"He also says he declined to give his phone to CPD in part because earlier he'd gotten a text from Don Lemon "saying he’d gotten a text from CPD saying they don’t believe me." objections, then a sidebar."

"Smollett also had private photos on his phone, plus contact info for "my boss, everybody, my mom, my family, my siblings, there are extremely important activists in my phone, extremely important executives and actors and actresses and singers." So he didn't want to turn it over."
