IL - Actor Jussie Smollett, hate crime hoax, Jan 2019 *Guilty* #7

@Countem Thx for this link & other link from Feb. 2025:

"Two brothers who helped stage a hate crime attack against actor Jussie Smollett won’t be able to collect damages from Smollett’s lawyers for defamation, a federal judge in Chicago ruled Friday."

At last, a common sense, logical ruling from the events beginning in Jan. 2019.
imo

Restitution should be mandatory at a minimum. He is a disgraceful human being.

And he will be forever a victim in his mind. He is going to claim PTSD and irreparable trauma. I don’t think we have seen the last of him, he has too much hatred to let this go.

He is going to find a way to make someone pay for this. The nerve of anyone to think that he is capable of doing anything as stupid as this! But he did!

His demeanour and the daily drama entering the courtroom was comical. It’s as though he thought he was Martin Luther. ‘Clear the path, I am here and I won’t be taking any questions’.

This is interesting. A show by Netflix, that is going to tell us that the fake hoax was real? Or that the real attack was faked? Or that the Nigerian brothers, did attack JS?! Yes, but JS wanted them to attack him?!? Really too confusing for me. We need to watch the show.

Smollett is attempting to revive his career with a Netflix documentary titled “The Truth About Jussie Smollett?,” set to debut on August 22. The film includes an interview with the former “Empire” star.

Smollett has reiterated his claim that he was attacked by two masked supporters of President Donald Trump, who shouted racist and homophobic slurs, placed a noose around his neck, and poured bleach on him. Smollett suggested the city turned against him to distract from other scandals, including the fallout from the 2014 police shooting of a teenager.

“Could it be that they had just found out about the missing minutes and the missing tape from the murder of Laquan McDonald? Could it be that the mayor helped hide that?” Smollett asked. “We’re living in a world where the higher-ups, their main mission, in order to do all of the underhanded things that they’re doing, is to distract us with the shiny object.”

“Every single other person’s story has changed multiple times. Mine has never. I have nothing to gain from this,” Smollett said.

The former Empire star maintains that two masked men shouting racist and homophobic slurs attacked him, even as two Nigerian American brothers, Olabinjo and Abimbola Osundairo, testified under oath that they carried out the assault at his request.

I can't believe it. He needs to just let it go.

Why would Netflix want any part of him in the first place? He needs a platform to be relevant I guess. And leave it to Netflix to be that platform. Grrr. Waste of time and money imo
