IM IN SHOCK!
Who goes into a park and sees a girl with a sketch pad and camera and take it upon himself to sexually assault her, kill her, and burn her. like REALLY!! It makes me sooo mad!

Sicko's do this,

And to reply on your earlier post...
I agree with the no bail, but when these bails start getting higher and higher, 5 million! I can't recall a case where anyone's bail was 5 million.
I think there is too much opportunity to get the defense atty's to fight the no bail so they just go higher....

IMO, 5 MIL bail speaks volumes in this case. IIRC, Drew Peterson has a 2.5 million dollar bail.

   for the DA and LE pulling what they have made public in a short amount of time. IF ONLY....... all cases could be held so close to the vest and then get info AFTER all the t's are crossed kind of thing...

phew.... still catching up reading.

Glad we finally got information about this monster.

Does he live by the park?

Sounds like Curl didn't know Toni, he frequented the park and was there on the day she was there.

Long time resident of Dekalb and unemployed. Wonder what his previous history with the law is? How awful, what a sick man. moo

Another park stalker who happened to take the life of a young girl. So sad. Would be interesting to know if he has a criminal history. Glad they caught this scum and have him off the streets quickly. He was likely another John Gardner in the making.:loser:

Any of the locals know where 507 E. Taylor Street is in relation to the park? TIA

i cant help but think what he did to toni, how gruesome it was...it just cant be his first time...right

Wonder why he stopped in Covington and tried to find day-labor work? Covington's such a small town. North Bank suburb of New Orleans. Maybe it's because the rooms are cheap there. That aside, I'm glad they got the guy.

Someone on Fb says he lives right across from Huntley Middle School

Looks like he lived less than a mile SE from the park (on the opposite side as NIU)

I am shocked and sickened but so impressed and relieved that LE caught him so quickly. At least, presuming he has not done this before...

Sexual assault
Murder
Arson
He did it all, and to a young woman he didn't even know. How sick...Can't imagine that this is his first time. moo

They never told us what happened to her body or how she was murdered. I'm hoping she was murdered before being set on fire? What a sick, sick man. Then, he steals his mother's car and heads off to Mexico.

Can't wait to see his criminal record...

My heartfelt condolences to mom and dad Keller - so very sorry for your loss. :blowkiss: Also to all those who love and care about Toni...this is a tragic loss.

a crime of opportunity.

fleed to mexico....came back across the bording to Louisiana.

Dude went to Mexico and came back?
Confirmation of earlier posts speculating disorganization.

Not a smart man..... I am not caught up, but I am hopeful and have faith that the loss of Toni will not only solve her crime, but a few others too.

Also - I want us to keep in the back of our minds, it has recently been reported in the Chicago area, IL has NOT processed more rape kits than one can imagine. And the immediate area's outside of chicago only processed these kits IF they thought they could get a conviction. It way beyond hinky into the heebie jeebies that IL was selectively choosing which rape kits to process and not... :( the lack of processing DNA from rape kits scares me the most.... I mean WTH!

phew....

Long time resident of DeKalb and unemployed. Wonder what he does all day and how he pays rent? Wonder if he has a mental condition that brings him some sort of disability. moo mho
