He only has one post, a photo, but 23 followers. It was a photo that showed such a different side to Barry (besides the professional lawyer, and the bodybuilder), that I checked the IG followers list with Barry's FB friends list. I have no idea who any of those people are, I was just trying to confirm that this was indeed Barry's IG account.
I'm am so hoping that new information will be released soon. It has been almost a month that Barry has been missing.
APRIL 23
The disappearance of a Lake County attorney first reported missing a month ago remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office, which has pursued more than 180 leads in the case, a spokesman said.
Looks like another missing mans body found in same area: Officials verifying identities of bodies found in Lake County
Based on some materials found on the body, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office thinks the person may have been staying at a nearby PADS shelter for the homeless, said Sgt. Christopher Covelli, a spokesman for the office.
The body is not thought to be that of missing attorney Barry Boches, 65, of unincorporated Antioch, “based on a number of circumstances,” Lake County Coroner Howard Cooper said.
Boches was last seen March 24 and his vehicle had been found about two miles south of his Waukegan law offices shortly after he had been reported missing March 25, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. Law enforcement has said his disappearance is believed to be suspicious.
Just typing aloud here.
Up thread it was mentioned he had given away some of his possessions. This is associated with suicide. It could also be a sign that he knew he was going to be disappearing soon (on his own accord?). His disappearance is described as suspicious. That seems vague and open to interpretation. It could mean many things. Did Barry plan his own disappearance (giving away items) because he was in trouble (financially or with unsavory characters)? Did someone get to him before he could leave on his own? I'm really just hoping this guy knew things were going to go down and he absconded to Mexico to live on the beach happily ever after.
It is strange that there isn’t more coverage on this.
This is what’s really worrisome: The investigation into his disappearance has included interviews of family members, friends and acquaintances, some of whom said Boches had reached out to them around the time he went missing.
Some of those he had contacted felt the conversations were concerning and thought Boches might be in some sort of danger from someone else.
I feel LE has an idea of what may have happened based on the conversations he had & the evidence/info they’ve gathered. JMO
Actually most attorneys with their own firms make VERY little money. Unlike larger firms that can hire collection agencies, solo practitioners can't always get paid, and have to do most of the work on their own. They also have to put money out for experts, transcripts, etc. that they don't always get back. So its not unheard of for solos to be poor.
