@Niner any updates on proceedings against Chavez?

Just found this case - per your tagging of me. Unfortunately, I have no access to the Cook County court site - so I am of no help there.

Unless someone reading here - can access it - and IF you can - I shall keep track of his court dates. But I WILL need a helper to look up stuff! :)

I just took a look at the court site and from what I can tell, they provide online information for civil, domestic relations, probate, naturalization, traffic, foreclosures, etc. but not criminal cases, unfortunately. You would have to have PACER for that. MOO

How do I find criminal court cases in Illinois?

Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER)

Visit the PACER website (Public Access to Court Electronic Records | PACER: Federal Court Records) to create an account, view fee schedules, or report problems accessing the system. The toll-free telephone number for the PACER Service Center is 1-800-676-6856.

Not sure how I missed your response, but I tried and wasn't able to find any updates.

Thank you both for checking.

I do not "do" Pacer - so I will just leave it where I have my notes & maybe something - articles maybe - will come up for this case.

As a male I do not envy what women have to deal with in today's society as basic as going for a run, trusting the person your in a relationship with or being lonely and making the decision to meet a stranger it seems they always have to be on alert. Men in this world need to do better.....RIP with respect to the victim...

I can't find anything, Niner. :(

Thanks for checking. Guess I shall just leave it where it is - and maybe some day we will find out what happened...
