She likely is mentally ill and has drug problems. If she had a good support system why were they living in filth? Where was she? It is stated that she found him unresponsive when she woke up on Monday which tells me she was home sometime Sunday night, early Monday morning, but didn't bother to check on him before she went to sleep.

I think she regularly didn't feed him, it was normal for her to not tend to him at all - she left food out for him, like he was a cat. Who does that? Mentally ill people.

How awful. I just looked pack and play up. Even smaller than an old playpen. What a horrible way to die.

I think this poor little guy must have been malnourished already or developmentally delayed because I don't know any typical 2 year olds that couldn't climb out of a pack and play if they wanted to. She probably neglected him so much that he was too weak to get out by himself.

Weiss was sentenced Monday to 20 years in prison with credit for 530 days served. She also is required to serve three years of mandatory supervised release.

Report after report. The baby had a G-tube. but it's cool mom left him in a filthy apartment for three days in a pack n play, but she chucked some peanut butter sammies, chicken strips, cereal, an bottle of water etc into the pen so all good right?
