Circumstances of Recovery: On 22 August 2023 at 1030 hours, Chicago Police Department telephoned the Forensic Institute regarding the death of an UNKNOWN person. The location of the discovery was in the 11000 block of Stony Island Avenue, Chicago, Illinois at Big Marsh Park. The decedent was face down in water that was only a few inches deep, approximately twenty-five feet from the edge of the paved roadway.

Clothing: Brown long sleeve shirt, a lime green vest with “Christy Webber Landscapes”, a black jacket, a black shirt, a pair of tan shorts, a pair of tan underwear, a pair of red shoes, and a pair of tan socks.

Footwear: Red Reebok athletic shoes

I reached out to the landscaping business through email and Facebook and asked if the police had contacted them about this unidentified person. They said they have not been contacted by law enforcement and I wasn't sure where to go from there.

I'd love to hear anyone's thoughts as well as suggestions on how to bring this up to law enforcement without over stepping.
