WAY too many changes in her story now. Might be another arrest in the near future. And i bet she is selling those pictures for the articles. She kept a low profile before the announcement of her son being charged.. now she is everywhere.

Yes, I've wondered if she's being paid for her interviews on msm.
Now that her son is in foster care w/ DCF and she has no other minor children at home, I wonder if her benefits have been cut and she
needs to make money somehow. And where is
she living now? Did she have a job?

How can you hear people screaming inside and just watch them pass away?

And how did her niece pass away in her arms if her boyfriend took her outside?

He did take a lot from me,” she said. “But God tells us not to judge.”

“I’ve never seen anything go up in flames so fast,” she said, adding she has post-traumatic stress disorder after barely surviving the fire, and the sound of a smoke alarm still gives her panic attacks. “My niece died in my arms. I can still hear them screaming.”
9-year-old central Illinois boy charged with murder in fatal fire that killed 5 ‘made a terrible mistake,’ but he’s ‘not a monster,’ mom says

“My niece died in my arms. I can still hear them screaming.”

BBM:
Is this the first time I'm hearing this? How did her niece die in her arms yet she escaped the fire?

Edited: I should have read ahead. I see you all asked the same question. :-)

I don’t know if I’m allowed to post the YouTube video as there are two children in it.

From KA’s YouTube video from April 10, 2019–

The two children are dancing and talking, but listen to the conversation his mother is having in the back.

Here’s what I caught. (Please add or make corrections):

Mom:
-You know, the day before Rosie passed away...(unintelligible)

-I went to go out and buy outfits for them. Put them in underwear, all of them....and the pull-ups became one with them. Poor Rose.

-Her and Jason became one person. Together. He always said: “I will be part of her life, no matter what.” And he kept his promise! (Laughter). Because no matter what, now they can’t be separated! (Laughter).

-(Sad tone) I feel like I robbed my family of the only person that ever made them happy.

Woman talking to mom:

-...I think if he would have survived...

Mom:

-...I think I would have hated him. I didn’t want him to die.

-If he realized he was dying and got out, I would have been okay with that. Because I don’t think I could handle the kids being alone. And he knew how afraid of dying I was. He knew I was afraid of dying. And he wasn’t...(unintelligible)

-I figured it wouldn’t have been me...

The story changes everytime the mother opens her mouth. Every. Single. Time.

There are definitely some disconnects in the story. The kid would probably be better off in a treatment facility than with this particular Mother.

Of note, if the child receives SSI payments, those are given to the institution for the cost offset. And the parent of an institutionalized child, does not qualify for many entitlement programs that are tied to having a dependent child in the home. Which is why many parents do not send their children to residential schools for the blind or deaf, or other disabilities.

How much does it cost to make a van "legal", does anyone know? In Wisconsin our registration fees just went up to $85 a year, but that's it.

Made me wonder if the purchase itself was sketchy and she doesn't have a title on the car?

The BBM segment above is quite telling to me.

LBM

First bolded : Finally went and watched that video. Horrible.
Not just that messy house ; but the fact that that 'mother' just sat there and didn't protect or pick up her child after he slapped the baby.
At the very end when the stepdad leans out of frame, the other toddler's feet fly up into the air as if she's been pulled backwards and down on her head.
Looks like the 9 year old was the only one confronting this abusive man.

Second bolded : Thought mom was ushered out by the boyfriend ? And spoke to the rest of them through the window as they burned ?
How did her niece die in her arms ?
Not saying this wouldn't be ghastly, but her story keeps changing.
MOO

Check out the first one dated 1-29-19.

i don't think either one worked from the way it sounds.

Those people weren’t working. They were probably living off SSI for their three disabled kids. Since the oldest had been also recently? diagnosed with severe mental health issues (which aren’t close to apparent in any of the videos I’ve seen of him), they were able to get SSI for him as well as the two little ones. .

Probably just tons of tickets, Late fees and things that had to be cleared up before they could register it.

These people lived rough.

I was able to download the baby hitting one. I haven’t had a chance to download the others. Is anyone else? Because they’re going to disappear soon.

“It’s a tragedy, but at the end of the day it’s charging a very young person with one of the most serious crimes we have,” the prosecutor added. “But I just think it needs to be done at this point, for finality.”

“I think they should throw him in prison,” said John Wall, the brother of Alwood’s fiancé who perished in the inferno, the Journal Star reported.

“We should not be locking up 9-year-olds,” Keenan-Devlin echoed. “We should be putting in services and supports for children who commit crimes that shock the conscious.”

Thats EXACTLY where my mind went. I see it here in FL a LOT. Every child has some issue or another so they can get extra money each month.. and they keep popping out kids each year. My mind NOW is going to.... did she think she would get MORE money from Military for death? I have one tenant that uses the term 'retired' from death of her ex military husband and gets enough each month to not work. I don't think 'mom' is smart enough to know that they weren't married so i DOUBT spousal support happens, since both little ones are deceased too. I know i'm stretching but this is one very 'winding road' type of case.
