Police search for man missing for a month in Jersey County

Police are asking for help to find an Illinois man who was reported missing from here weeks after he was last seen.
Friends of the missing man are squabbling over on a Facebook post meant to rally people to help search for March, adding to the confusion in the investigation, police say.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at 618-498-6881.

Body found near Jerseyville suspected to be that of missing man

Friends of a missing area man say his body was found “in the woods” on Thursday night, five days after his mother filed a missing person report.
Jacqueline Stuby, a friend of March’s, said a body was found at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday “in the woods” along Illinois Route 109 south of Jerseyville.

The Jersey County Sheriff’s Department said information would be released to the press at 10 a.m. on Saturday with details about the body being found.
