Are you sure? I ask because Ancestry has a birth record in Kentucky for Edna F McIntyre with a matching birth date of June 2, 1954. If this is the missing Edna then her maiden name is McIntyre and she would have used Droysen either by marriage or for some other reason. I can find no record of a marriage (but that does not mean one did not occur as genealogy sites are rarely complete). The only Droysden possibilities which occur to me are;

• Did she have any Wisconsin links? In 1972 Robert L Droysen was arrested and convicted for pandering (in effect, pimping). This comes from Droysen v. Hansen, 59 F.R.D. 483 | Casetext. Whilst I have no reason to think there is any connection it is something I would be seeking to exclude.
• Did she know a George Droysen, who was at Brother Rice High School in Chicago in the 1960s, and (born 1951) seems the only male Droysen in Chicago of a similar age to Edna.

Not much to move us forward I know.

Brother Rice High School is way, way down south in Chicago, the Southwest Side, private Catholic high school. Schurz is a ways away up far north, to me it's unlikely but not impossible, high school students do in many instances have cars, and they might meet peers from other areas of the city through sporting events, mixers, drama/music/band, etc.

Also, on the fur coat-- "fur" fur, as in real fur, or faux fur? If it's real fur, I'd find it more likely someone she knew (or she herself) may have had access to a vehicle, which means longer-distance travel might be possible.

And agreed with those wondering about Lopez Canyon Jane Doe. Was there ever an exclusion for this?

Also wondering about Ocean County NJ Jane Doe 1981, she was est 18-25, 5'0"-5'3", suspected homicide.

Yellow hair found near the remains, and she's listed as blonde/sandy hair. She was found in a wooded area, sources noted she may have been there several years. There was a ring found near the remains, woman's ring, may have been hers, with outline of heart and a diamond.chip, the initals E.W. were on the ring.

While geography makes this unlikely to be Edna, I am still wondering about that ring and the initials, and the overall match in terms of height, age, and hair color. Definitely not impossible, but not sure how likely. And can't help also but notice Edna's strong resemblance to another MP, Cynthia Constantine. It might be interesting to look at exclusions for Cynthia and see if any might possibly be Edna.
