I wonder if he had any friends with whom he talked from time to time? It seems he would mention the details of his moving plans to someone in his life....

I’m so glad you posted this!
His current mugshot is NOTHING like original photo in this thread.
He looks really rough now!
More like 53 than 33!

Yes, and in the roomie add that @Unsolved posted he looks real young.

Good lookout for sure @Unsolved

Darn it. I'm always hopeful to the very end but also know that some are just not going to turn out to be good news. RIP Eric and prayers to his family for peace.

Eric Grindstaff had last been seen moving furniture from his grandmother’s Wood River home to his new residence in Dupo on May 25. A month later, police discovered a decomposing body believed to male on a property near the 400 block Elm Avenue.

Kimberly Meyer, Grindstaff’s mother, said she was notified on June 23 that her son had been found dead.

Meyer said she learned on Facebook of Grindstaff’s plan to move in with a friend at 4016 Elm Avenue in Dupo. When she went there to look for her son on June 22 — a month after he went missing — the owner told her he didn’t know him, she said.
