IL - Four Bodies Found in Chicago Waterways in a Week

Four bodies have been removed from the waterways of Chicago in a week. It’s a large number of bodies in a short amount of time. Two of them were men and two were women. The most recent was a pregnant woman. Three of the bodies were pulled out of the Chicago River, the other was removed from Lake Michigan. Autopsy results have not been released.

Another woman’s body was found, this time on the north side. Her body was pulled out of Lake Michigan on Monday, May 2nd.

The body of a 31-year-old man who went missing last month was recovered from the Chicago River on May 5, 2022.

On May 2, 2022 a woman’s body was pulled from Lake Michigan near Edgewater Beach.

According to reports the pregnant woman went missing two weeks before they pulled her out of the Chicago River.

The body that was pulled from Lake Michigan was identified as 22-year-old Natally Brookson of Edgewater. Autopsy results are still pending. Per reports, Brookson's boyfriend Daniel Sotelo was also reported missing. He is still missing.
