So he was last seen leaving home on a bicycle at noon and then seen in the evening at the Dollar General. Wonder where he went all day, and if they know if he was still on a bike when he went to the store?

"According to Franklin County Chief Deputy Kyle Bacon, it was not uncommon for Brock to be seen biking throughout many communities in the county."

I'm not familiar with Franklin County so I don't know how much distance he was known to cover, but is it possible he had some kind of accident somewhere? Looking at a sateliite image on Google it looks like there are a lot of wooded areas in that county.

Joshua Brock, 34, was last seen on Oct. 9 at the Dollar General Store on the west side of West Frankfort.

He was wearing dark colored cargo shorts, a red, blue, a white button down short sleeve shirts and red tennis shoes.
Deputy believes these pictures (which I have trouble posting here) were taken near time of disappearance and shows clothing he may have worn. I don’t know why the last picture is so dark.

According to Chief Deputy Kyle Bacon, the photos above were captured near the time of his disappearance, and depict the clothing he had on near that time.

You’re right Pommy. Completely different look. Wonder time, date, and where pictures with dark clothes were taken? Good sign they must be following leads.

I have a basic familiarity with Franklin County although I haven’t been there in a long time and haven’t spent much time there.

You’re right, it is pretty heavily wooded in general, and it’s very rural but not what I’d call “remote”—there are a lot of small towns that it would be feasible to bike between.

I think an accident is probably the most likely scenario, although it is odd that if that’s the case he still hasn’t been found after six weeks.

If it was an accident I think it’s more likely to have been with a vehicle rather than him crashing on his own. Tons of drunk drivers in the area and a lot of tweakers in West Frankfort specifically.

I wonder if he could have been accidentally hit by someone who then panicked and hid his body...it's a plausible scenario, especially if the driver was drunk or otherwise impaired. It's hard to clean up all signs of a hit-and-run, but I don't know if LE has conducted any kind of organized search for him.

Could have been. If that’s the case though I doubt he was moved any further than the woods or whatever cover was just off the side of the road. JB is 260 pounds so unless there were multiple people present it’s doubtful he could have been moved anywhere.

From the article it sounds like there have been LE searches and organized private searches, but where and how extensive they were isn’t clear.

The one notable thing about the searches though is seemingly all of them have been in Franklin County. JB was last seen like two miles from the Williamson County line, and just going by what’s indicated in the articles I’m not sure that county has been searched at all. My guess is he’s somewhere there.

Bumping, there is a FB group for updates, though not sure if it's run by family. There was a post shared Christmas day saying 76 days missing
