Shemaya summary of interview summary:

I believe this is Maya, but it could be Monifah. Her account is that she thought they were going to the movies all the way up until they pulled up at the hotel. Now what kind of BS is that???? They went to a liquor store and to get weed and to pick up a speaker. I don't know. Maybe she wasn't with them for all the other stops. Here's her recollection:

"Blank stated that on 09/08/17 earlier that evening she was with three other girls that were in the car. She stated it was herself, the victim, blank and blank ). She stated that she thought they were all going to the movies. But when they pulled up to the hotel parking lot at approx. 0100 Hrs. it was at that point when she knew they were going to the hotel party and not the movies.

"She stated that all four of them were talking about how they charged $20.00 for parking and they did not want to pay that so they called the girl that was the birthday and asked her about the $20.00. told them to don’t worry about paying for parking and just put it under the room. She stated that in the room they were all just sitting around on the bed and she stated that she did not drink or smoke any weed but she remembers that Kenneka had one cup of alcohol the entire time they were at the party but she is not sure if Kenneka refiled that one cup or not.

"She stated that the victim was sad due to her current boyfriend being in jail. She stated that throughout the night Kenneka would get up and dance a little and then sit back down and become sad. Blank believes it was because she was having fun and her boyfriend was locked up so she felt guilty for having a good time. She stated that after approx. 2 hrs. of being at the party she received a text from the Kenneka stating she is ready to leave.

"She stated that Kenneka, herself and got up and was walking out of the room, when the victim turned around and said I don’t have my phone. She stated that she was the last one to walk out of the room so she turned around and went in to the room to get Kenneka’s phone. When she turned around after getting the phone she saw was also behind her in the room. So they both walked out of the room and at that point when they walked out Kenneka was not around and she was not in the hallway.

"She stated that herself and blank walked around the entire hotel from the top floor all the way down and they also asked the front desk and they stated that they have not seen a girl matching that description walking by the front desk. She stated that they walked back in the room after looking for Kenneka for a while and she was not in the room. She stated that they called Kennekas mother and told her that they could not find the victim but they had her cell phone and car keys. She stated that the Kennekas mother told her to bring the car and cell phone back to her. She stated that they drove the car to the Kennekas mothers house and gave her the keys and Kenneka’s cell phone. After a little while Kennekas mother dropped her off at her house and she believes Kennekas mother drove to the hotel to look for the victim."

Okay. I just have to interject-- How is KJ texting you that she wants to go home when you are sitting right across from her? How does KJ text you that she is ready to go, you leave straight away, but KJ does NOT have her phone? Didn't she JUST text you with it?

Other interview with that weird Security guard:

This is actually what he said in his first interview. The stuff above is a follow up interview.

"blank stated that 2 hours later he went to check the 9th floor again and when he got off the elevators he saw 3 girls walking in the hallway and knocking on doors and he asked what they were doing and they told him that they were looking for their friend. He stated that they went back in to the room. The next time he saw those girls was at approx. 0500 Hrs. they were asking him where and how they could get back to the parking lot and he was in the main lobby when they approached him."

So he didn't say he saw the girls wandering at 3am the first time he was interviewed. He just says 2 hours after the first time he went up there. We can guess the first time he went up was about 230am, according to the live feed. So he could have seen the three girls on the 9th floor about 430am, as far as we can tell.

Investigative report about the search for KJ

So here, the police are called to the hotel because KJ's sister is knocking on every hotel room door. She explains what she is doing and why. The police got the hotel to pull footage and figured out KJ entered the hotel but didn't leave. Sister revealed that KJ had snapchatted being in a bathroom at 217am.

The police searched all over the hotel while someone else monitored the survelliance to see ifthey could find more KJ appearances. They didn't find anything, and the police left. 20 minutes later, the police were recalled because someone said they saw KJ in an 11th floor window, struggling with someone.

After checking it out, police discovered it was the 13th floor, and it was a chilidren's party, no KJ inside.While the police were still on site, the manager told them that she found KJ on camera at 330am in the lower kitchen. They split up to search and also called in the fire department to help search.

after midnight, this officer was radioed that the body had been located in the inner freezer.

now, this officer heard from another officer, Walsh, that Walsh was outside when a hotel worker motioned him inside. the guy was scared and took him to the freezer to show what he'd found.

"PSO Walsh said he then opened the 2nd door into the freezer and the light was off inside there as well. He stated when he opened the freezer door he immediately saw what appeared to be a woman lying on the floor face door. PSO Walsh said at that time is when he advised dispatch that he had located the female. He said he grabbed her leg to try and shake her awake when he realized her leg was extremely cold and hard. PSO Walsh advised he did check for a pulse on her neck but could not feel anything and did not touch her or move her after checking for a pulse."

So that is probably why one of KJ's feet are on the threshold of the freezer door.

Another redacted witness account summarized:

This guy claims KJ arrived at 2300, but anyway...he further says

"Kenneka and her two friends left the room at approximately 0300 HRS. He described Kenneka being intoxicated and high from marijuana while the other two friends didn’t even appear as if they were drinking at all. Immediately upon the three exiting the room, two of the friends returned. They stated they forgot the car keys. Kenneka remained in the hallway. The two friends searched the room for approximately 5-10 minutes. They found the car keys and also found Kenneka’s cellphone which was lying in the room unoccupied. They again exited the room into the hallway. They immediately noticed Kenneka was no longer in the hallway. The two informed people in the party that Kenneka was gone. The two friends left the room stating they were going to look for her. "

Interview of another redacted witness:

This is the person who thinks KJ would not do drugs because she had an upcoming drug test.

"Blank stated Kenneka appeared to be laughing and having a good time whenever she saw Kenneka. Blank saw Kenneka holding a bottle Hennessy with only a little alcohol left in the bottle. Although does not take ecstasy, she stated it is very common for her friends and other people at the party to take ecstasy. blank did not see anyone with ecstasy at the party, but a guy she was talking to said he was high (meaning high on ecstasy). "

She thought KJ being missed was a joke. Claims to be KJ's "blood cousin." I put it in quotes because the guy at the party claiming to be Kj's cousin did not say he had say other cousins at the party. She also mentions being blood cousins with two other people. She reveals that Vice Lord gang members attended the party.

Sacara interview summary:

"During the party, Sacara stated Kenneka appeared very intoxicated and Sacara saw her stumbling inside the hotel room. Sacara stated Kenneka was dancing and shouting at Irene to get up and dance with her. Sacara observed Kenneka drinking Hennessy straight from the bottle and said, “What you doin’ girl? That’s a man’s drink, don’t your chest burn?”

"Kenneka responded, “No girl, I’m good!”Sacara stated she took the bottle of Hennessy away from Kenneka, because Kenneka appeared so intoxicated. Sacara did not see Kenneka smoke weed or take any drugs. Sacara stated she took one ecstasy pill earlier in the night (before getting to the hotel) and did not bring any pills to the hotel room. Sacara stated it is not uncommon for their friends to take ecstasy. "

She didn't take the missing thing seriously. Sh says the ones that came with KJ and "Pz" searched for KJ.

reason that automatically implies that is was taken by her or willingly.

IMO it implies actually the opposite- that one was dropped in her drink. A drug that does not typically result in people walking to theri death in freezers might indicate that she was clueless after being given a med

There some psychological notion ( expectation/anticipation etc) ie waiting for the buzz to start or kick in .

It has a totally different "impact" when one does not know it is in there bloodstream.
By that I mean the effects can be totally different.

A guy I no longer wanted to see , the night I explained my feelings, apparently tossed something (sitting on a picnic table, cocktail by side -- he came up and sat on the bench behind the top me and Matt were sitting upon.

He was not talking to us, I dont own the bar (!) so it not like I could ask him to go sit somewhere else.

About 90 minutes later the world changed.

It def was not alcohol - I did not take anything.

If I had I would have expected , in time, for my feeling to change.

Being totally unaware of what was happening or why def changed the impact.

It was not a good night!

My sense is someone there knew someone who was , not necc at the party knew someone who was legitimately prescribed it,

Most folks IMO would conclude that a person in a seizure, after being given it calms down immently that the conclusion would be it would knock someone out - if a person is drinking and does not have epilepsy

Being at therapeutic level at the time of death means nothing as it relates to willingly taken, or , a spiked drink.

If one takes too much of anything levels will rise. If that level was high enough at death it might end up in a therapeutic level.

That testing is like parts per million or whatever.

At the time.

It does not indicate daily dosing, In actuality it might translate to a much higher level earlier in the night and the liver had been removing it as the night went on .

Kidneys removes things as well. When drinking more urination.

She was at the high level of the therapeutic range- which if being taken for speepsy or migraines would indicate she had been taking at doses prescribed for sometime.

Which would then lead to the conclusion that others in her life would have, in all likelihood known she migrated or had seizures.

That does not seem to be the case.

It has also been reported that it is known as a party drug. That too,does not translate directly to voluntary ingestion.

Quaaludes were considered a party drug-- before date rape drugs came on scene they were often given to unwitting victims for sexual intent as well

Most people who are doing hard core party drugs are doing it cause they like it.

Sounds awful but noone is gonna "waste" some ecstasy on someone without there knowledge - increasing the likelihood that it being a legit med - has more ominous overtones.

It also would not show up in a victim as a gang rape drug - which might be helpful if the victim went to police later and a date rape drug was found.

Confuses everything -- exactly how it did in this case.

It was not a boy scout gathering.

Gang Signs were being tossed around . Signing is usually not about wanting some pizza with some pepperoni on it !!

Conversely some RX med ending up in her bloodstream IMO increases the likelihood that it was put in her drink for nefarious reasons.

TCH levels with weed pretty well indicate voluntary ingestion ( unless someone was hold own down and forcing).

Cant have a bunch of weed floating in a cocktail!!

Dropping it in her cup remains as much of a possibility today as it did that night

Self acknowledged gang members tend to increase IMO, the likelihood of violent intent

Most of us knew there were a lot of gang members at the party , but were unable to post it .

A valid hypothesis (gang rape) is now more likly to be considered valid. However, gang members would be aware that it might end up in a murder charge the way this played out, might be very inclined to let others at the party know you rat us out we kill you.

SImple. Concise. Happens.

The persuasive silence afterwards, with 30 folks there frankly, IMO, indicate that that is the most likely scenario in light of how it all progressed

Irene Jenkins Interview Summation + Text messages

Irene says she and her crew took E before arriving at the hotel and didn't bring any pills with them. She said she started the live shortly after KJ and crew arrived.

Irene said KJ hadn't been in any danger. Irene DID NOT work for the hotel. She was forced to quit her job at another place due to harassment and death threats from customers. She also had to move because people showed up at her house to threaten her.

Like her sister, Irene observed KJ heavily drinking, turning up a hennessy bottle that had a handle on it. She says KJ would ask her to get up and dance, and after KJ got very drunk, Irene's sister took the bottle away.

Irene says that blank left with Blank, and then came back later. I believe this is Bre-bre who left with someone, saying they were picking up some people. Strangely, the people nor the girl Brebre left with appear to be with Brebre when she returns around 300-315am in the lobby.

She saw Blank and blank leave with KJ. They must be who I refer to as M&M.

'Irene stated she laughed at them and did not take them serious. Jrene said, “What you mean you lost Kenneka? How you lose a grown person?” Irene said most of the people in the hotel room did not take it seriously and did not believe Kenneka was actually missing.'

"Irene stated she left the hotel at approximately 0500 HRS. She stated Kenneka was a good friend of hers and she is very upset about her death. She stated she would not allow something bad to happen to Kenneka and neither would the people at the party, as many of them were close friends or cousins of Kenneka. stated her cousin, Blank is also cousins with Kenneka. Irene stated “Wonky” (later identified as blank ), “Quan” (later identified as blank ), and “Phucky” (later identified as blank ) are brothers and blood cousins with Kenneka. Irene stated there were members from the Vice Lord street at the party but there was no fighting or issues at the party."

I don't know who at the party is KJ's "brother" yet. and there is that distinction again between cousins and blood cousins.What is the difference in slang terms?

Basically, Irene is texting that she didn't leave the hotel room and had nothing to do with KJ disappearing. She has KJ leaving at 2 something am, but everyone else says 3am. She says a few different things in these texts.

1. KJ left with the "people" she came with.
2. KJ left the room with Monifah.
3.M&M and brebre went in the hall and KJ was gone.
4, M&M left with KJ and returned without her.
5. KJ left with "Monifah nem."

The 3 girls were walking around the hallway and knocking on doors in the middle of the night? Why did this hotel let this stupid party go on for so long that night? They called the police the next day when the sister was knocking on doors at 5pm, when most people wouldn't even be asleep. Security had gone up to the room 2 times already, the girls were knocking on other guest's doors, they were CLEARLY having a big, loud, party and you KNOW the guard smelled the marijuana. It is so suspicious to me that he didn't shut it down and/or call the cops.

I've said from the beginning that they were real gang members. They apparently told the cops they were, too, so I would believe it's true.

This is the thing. From reading these interviews, I gather that more than one person bought a bottle of Hennessy, including KJ's group. I wonder if it's possible that another bottle of Henny was there, brought by other group, who spiked their own bottle. KJ got their bottle on accident and was swigging on it.

Just a theory because they say she went from cup to bottle. It had to hit her pretty quick if she was ready to go home about 20 minutes after the live of her drinking with the red bull in hand.When she was by the guy in the striped jacket, I'm meaning.

It's hard to believe the partygoers admit to underage drinking, smoking pot, taking pills beforehand, but NOBODY saw actual pills at the party. NO ONE took pills at the actual party. Very weird that there is SO MUCH talk of pills in these interviews, but no pills at the party. This might be the case because no one wants to explain what they were really taking or where that got this type of stuff.

You can get Rx meds withouth Rxs internationally, but you have to be careful because it might not be made right. I ordered some pills from India, because my bf at the time would not go to the doctor and get an Rx. I took one of the pills before I gave it to him to make sure I hadn't bought something that would mess him up. Rather me than he, since I'm the one who bought it. I was fine, but he claimed it made him sick to his stomach. It worked, though.

Yes. The cops asked him or another person about why they didn't call the police. I can't remember if it was in one of the guard's interviews, but he said they don't do that unless someone has to be thrown out. SMDH.

I completely agree about how that hall had to smell. I was on a cruise once with friends. One of the guys smoked weed and was having it with others in his cabin. When me and my friend got there, we could smell it in the hall, and he was trying to smoke it in the bathroom with the steam. Like the steam was gonna stop the smell.

If security had done its job and thrown them out, KJ would probably be alive.

Summary of Bre-bre's interview summary:

I think this is Bre-bre. But let me know if you think it's not.

Bre-bre says her group planned to go to the party and picked up the Hennessy, bluetooth speakers, and some weed before getting there. She repeated the issue with paying to park, and when they got upstairs, Irene started the live. The police asked about the "help me" people allegedly heard in the song, but Bre-bre said it wasn't a person, just part of the song. Police asked about the rumor that they sold KJ for $200. Bre-bre said that was the cost if they lost their paking pass, and KJ was worried about that in case she lost the pass.

Blank told KJ, who was upset about her imprisoned boyfriend, to loosen up and have fun. KJ responded that she was doing that.

about 215-230am, Brebre said she left with someone because that person needed a GPS to locate an address where friends were. Brebre got dropped back off at 310am, but the others kept going somewhere else. She said she sent KJ two texts.One said she was close to returning. The other asked if "Smack" was at the party. KJ answered neither text.

KJ was not there when Brebre got back. She asked M&M where KJ was and M&M explained that they had walked out with KJ, realized she didn't have her things, turned around to go back in the room to get them. They assumed KJ followed, but she didn't. When they went back in the hall, KJ was gone.

Brebre claims they started searching at 330am. Friends joined in. Called TM to see if KJ was at home. Kept searching until 5 or 6am before calling TM again to stay they still couldn't find KJ, and they took the car to TM.

"Brebre stated she was unsure how much Kenneka drank because she left the party with blank, and Kenneka was gone when she returned. Brebre stated people were drinking and smoking weed at the party. I asked if any other drugs were present. Brebre stated there was probably people with ecstasy pills at the party, because it is common in their circle of friends that people take ecstasy. Brebre stated she has known Kenneka to take ecstasy pills in the past, but did not see her take any pills on the night of the incident. "

Another interview with a Vice Lord gang member:

This guy recalls KJ drinking and socializing. He said KJ and M&M left the room. He was playing dice by the door. He said they came back in again and left again. He didn't pay them much attention to know if they did it again. He left about 4am.


Smack interview summary:

Smack arrived t 245am to 3am. He denied being Vice Lord, but the police found out differently.

"While at the party in room 926, Smack said everybody was “having a good time” and there was “no bull* at all.” He was drinking Hennessey and smoking marijuana while at the party and said people were also on “pills” (ecstasy), but did not observe them at the party. He believes a good amount of people at the party took pills prior to attending the party at the hotel. Everyone was friendly and “neighborhood people who always party together.” he noticed Jenkins drinking liquor out of a cup, and that she appeared intoxicated, but did not pay attention to her because “a lot of people were there.” He said, “Everyone was drunk and high.” "

He left between 4 and 430am and claimed not to know about KJ until later.


Guy who checks the cooler and freezer temperatures:

This is the guy who is seen on the upper kitchen footage after KJ walks into the cooler but before the other employee finds her. He says that it's his job to check temperatures on units. He doesn't say whether that includes KJ's units. He has other jobs, too. He calls the upper kitchen the "kosher" kitchen.

"On 9/9/17 at approximately 2000 HRS, he entered the kosher kitchen. Upon arriving at the door, he noticed the wood door was open more than normal. The door was also open more than he remembered the night before. The door has been open/unlocked for a few weeks as he believes they began construction in that area.

'Given his observation, he entered the area thinking someone walked in there. While looking in the area, he checked the temperature reading and soon after received a call. It was from the front desk stating someone defecated in the pool and needs to be cleaned. After spending approximately one minute in the kosher kitchen, he responded to the pool area. "

Another partygoers interview summary:

Something about the way this guy describes KJ seems hinky. He has known her since 2013. He remembers her at the party with a smile on her face, drinking from a hennessy cup. This description is very personal and almost like a picture. When I hear culprits discussing their crimes and lying, they usually use imagery like this. I'm not saying he did anything, but it just throws up a red flag to me, especially as he goes on to say she started turning up a bottle, something that should be MORE memorable in my view.

In even more strangeness, he continues:

"As the party went on, blank remembers seeing Jenkins drinking “from the bottle of Hennessey.” He saw Jenkins “got messy” and fell asleep for a short period of time on the bed, and no one was messing with her or being inappropriate at all. blank said that he has known Jenkins and she could not handle her liquor, and has seen her drunk on many occasions. He said, “She was just that girl that couldn’t drink much, nothing against her, just how it is.”"

No one else describes KJ like this in bold. He also said she was always nice and friendly with everyone. Further:

"No one had any problems with each other and the party was “one hundred percent chill and cool.” There was liquor (Hennessey and Remy Martin) and marijuana at the party. He was drinking Remy and smoking marijuana. He also knows that the individuals at the party do “pills” such as ecstasy, but did not see it at the party. He said, “Look at the Facebook live with Irene, her lips are shaking since she’s on pills.” He did not know if Jenkins was on or taking any pills at the party, or if she smoked at the time, but stated she was “drunk.” Jenkins was speaking casually with her friends at or near the bed prior to them leaving."

Unlike anyone else, he describes KJ as swaying and stumbling when she left with her two friends. He even claims one of the friends had to assist KJ. He claims the two friends came back for the phone and keys and left. A few minutes later, they returned an announced KJ was missing. They left again to search.

Further:

"Blank advised Jenkins “doesn’t really get with guys” and has known her to having two boyfriends over the time her has known her. Both of those boyfriends he advised are in jail and “locked up” at the moment and “have been for a while.” He didn’t have any information on the two. He assisted and with looking for Jenkins, but were unsuccessful in locating her. They thought she just left with a friend and thought nothing suspicious or serious at the time."

I don't see why KJ would be upset and feel guilty about partying if her BF was locked up for a while already. Odd.

States that they were going to the movies, but changed to going to the party. She and KJ picked up the others, they went by the liquor store, got the party speakers from wherever, and weed. Someone got a Rippin energy drink. As they walked up, blank took a video of them in the elevator. I don't know if that means a 5th person or it was one of the 4. There does seem to be 5 ppl in the elevator footage.

The police discussed wth her the rumor about the $200 and the "hel me." She explained it the same way as the others. The $200 was bout a possible fine for parking. The help me was an artifact in the song.

She mentioned that one of them bought an E pill earlier and took it right away. She also says she did not see Kenneka take anything and doesn't know how much KJ drank. She said they looked for 1 to 2 hours. She is also getting death threats.

I personally don’t think she was drugged, and idk why they would spike their own alcohol instead of just taking the pills. Doesn’t seem logical to me. JMO

Regarding buying pills online - my brother did this and wound up in the hospital with terrible seizures. Over a year later he is still not well from taking those pills. Please, I beg everyone to not buy pills online.

I was just investigating this more, and people crush pills to make cocktails to drink. I just read that they crush a mix of psychotic drugs to make an alternative Sizzurp and in Lean. There are recipes on the web on how to do it.

This is really a very easy way someone can get drugged without knowing it. Simply ask, "Can I taste your drink?" or someone says to you, "Try this." And they ight not mean to "drug" you. I just don't think very much of anything is beyond some human trying to accomplish, no matter how senseless. Case in point, I also saw that people crush Rx pills and snort them, too.

Topamax oxidises. It reacts to air. If you cut a tablet in half, to take half, you have to throw the other part away because the active ingredients rapidly become useless. I know this from my doctor when I was tapering off. This tends to make me think it would probably not work crushed and put in a drink. K had ‘therapeutic’ levels in her body. Sorry to bang on, but let’s be real.

I honestly don't think that anyone at this party needed to be drugged. I think this group willingly takes what they choose and have no desire to try to trick someone else into taking something they could just take themselves. I know we never want to believe that our victims would do something that has caused their life to end, but I also would never want to point blame at someone else. That doesn't make anything better. I think this was a sad accident. Many of us could have met with a worse ending, based on our alcohol intake, all on our own. Or drugs. I was never a drug person, but I sure drank enough to make up for it. That bathroom picture someone here posted felt super familiar.
