I was thinking the same thing about sitting and staying still. I have had many a night like that. But its just so wierd how all that walking and she decides to FINALLY have a seat in a feeezer, NO. Does this hotel have noone who mans the security cameras, where is hotel security? All this ralk about editing footage, WHY? Who are they trying to edit out of frame? And whats up with the red boxes?

If the above circled in red is the loading docks, where are the dumpsters? I can only see cars there and, normally, cars are not allowed to block a loading dock.

I believe that whole area circled is where the new restaurant will be. The restaurant seats 275 people so they would need a lot of room. I think the back/rear of that area would be the dock. The part with the giant silver plate? on the ground looks to be where the big trucks would unload and maybe the parking spots next to that would be for car and small truck deliveries. JMO

In all of the videos that we see KJ, she is alert and having fun. Her mother said she didn't tolerate alcohol well. The only video that she is not alert is the video where only three of the girls are seen, seemingly sober, and there's a fourth in the background, sounding as if she is drunk. I'm beginning to think that the Irene video was done toward the end of the party in another room. Her Mom said that she was taken up to the 11th floor to talk to someone who had seen KJ with three girls and two guys that night.

@4:38 you can see all three of the females who are said to have been to have been there with KJ. They all look to be pretty much lucid and at themselves. The only one that we do not see it KJ. Is she the one whose voice is slurred in the background?

Is this a second room that has a door that opens between it and another room? Could they have taken KJ in there to lie down and sober up at some point, left her there, and she wanders out of the second room without anyone knowing until they check in on her later? We've gotten the rooms that have the door between them to keep our own personal stuff in and to have a place to crash if we wanted. Just a thought because the Irene video is the only one that has a friend (very possibly KJ) who sounds drunk, so I think it may have been taken later in the evening, instead of when they first arrived. :thinking:

You are correct. The sister seems to be much more credible than anyone else. I remember her saying the white doors and then another door to the freezer area.

I think our first impression from the police statement was two different floors, although after thinking about it, that may (or may not) be correct. They could have meant two separate areas of the same “space’. However, adding in what the sister has said, I lean toward two different floors.




Yep, that’s what mom said, However, as teens did we tell our parents everything we did? From some of the videos of Kenneka herself that are out there, she is with a drink or references drinks. And reading her comments in some of her FB friends pages, she talks about drinks and drugs. Whether she over-indulged, I can’t say, but I would be willing to bet she did drink at the very least. I am still of the suspicion her drink was drugged without her knowledge.




I can barely decipher a word of the videos or the posts being made. It is like reading a foreign language. But I am not good at shortcuts for messages, either. Can we hire your daughter to be our consultant?

There are some really good ebonics translators out there on YT!

Not all the sound engineer stuff - 20ish year olds that talk that way and text that way and know nothing means what it sounds like !!

The one thing I have learned on this one is go for the later stuff -- it gave folks in the community and at the party etc time to undo the initial nonsense thrown out there.

After several days they withdrew and hid so things could be cleared out -giving a more authentic understanding.

Until - all the representative clutter
(activists) stuff was dumped in then it all flattened out again .

The recreated videos were not put out in a correct order and a correct order was never provided - all we have is crazy timestamps , an informative sequence could have been provided.

Folks are aware of the confusion out there and no effort has been made to clear anything up - Three weeks later we cant really determine what floor she was on -- someone has to know what floor the mysterious person found her on.

We know people went in to where she was to get her out a presser could have easily cleared up much of the noise that remains.

Imo all behavior has meaning...................many conflicting versions have just been left as is .......vague and confusing

I'm not sure when that Google Earth picture was taken but maybe those cars parked in the dock area belong to the construction guys working in the new restaurant area. Looks like the parking lot is full and maybe they wanted to be close to the construction area. Just a guess.

My sense is kinda simultaneously-- communicating with one another. Pure speculation - I think the guys in the boys room were communicating with the men in Irene's room.

The only reason why I think most think they were different is one came out later!!

Another thing that could be easily cleared up if clarity was what was wanted.

Do not forget she walked by dozens of delicious looking chairs and sofas in the lobby and the area where the conference rooms are.

- a catch your breath to just try to figure out where you are - even if not bouncing into things is kinda how it works.

i have just , totally sober, sat and tried to remember where on earth I left my keys ( I shall confess this is a semi daily exp!!) Oh I am bad bad with keys, not quite sure where they are this very moment as a matter of fact!!

I was taught about the red boxes right here in WS! Apparently accurate but still makes no sense

What I learned was they are motion activated cameras - what still makes no sense(!) is these are tiny spaces on each camera.

If it was like a cctv of a football stadium it would make sense to me that a red box indicating where to look might be helpful - but in a 10 by 10 shot of a hallway I still cant imagine the need for that feature!!

I agree that it looks like a place to receive deliveries. Perhaps cars are parked there because it was vacant when the Google Earth pictures were taken in Sept 2016, but what I can't figure out is that this hotel would have to have another location where there are dumpsters for the operating part of the hotel but I don't see those anywhere on the other sides of the building either. I did notice something while "walking" around-- next door at the Double Tree there are dumpsters inside the building and it looks like possibly a garage door that opens and closes. I was afraid I was the only one that had
analyzed the videos so much that I can practically do them -- a very scary notion at times the last two weeks !!

There was one really good translator one -- that captured (not that engineer stuff!) that captured a lot missed on a lot of the others.

It was cause, it appeared that poster had really good speakers and was not using a degraded copy!!

Is it common in everyday life for folks to film off another cell phone -- those clips are maddening - the shining of the phone and the tiny cell itself .

KJ was found in the freezer, in the vicinity of the construction area, where the new restaurant (CaddyShack) was being built. That restaurant is on the same level as the lobby. It's not located in the basement.

"It was not clear who located Jenkins' body, but Mack said the hotel was doing some construction in the area where she was found. Martin said she was told the freezer Jenkins was in was turned on and cold but was not being used to store food.

To this very second that blows my mind and IMO is a choice by those in charge.

Who on earth does not know who found a deceased 19 year old frozen solid to death?

Its not like its a common occurrence - it cant be like a detailed interview would not have been done. I would think said interview would clearly state such.

The sister said they told them a firefighter found her and then changed it to an employee a couple of days later.

In the purple interview by channel 5 lady-- a firefighter or an employee -- its not like there uniforms would be similar

Yeah I don't put a lot of credence into what the mother says regarding the drinking "knowledge" of her 19 year old daughter. She is an underage drinker, she is leaving the house at 11;30 pm to go to a birthday party for her friend at a hotel 45 minutes away (reportedly that far). A hotel room paid for with identify theft. (whether she knows that or not is irrelvevant). With drug being smoked and taken and drinking. Hard to assess based on the circumstances she found her self in. Did she go in a report to her mother oh I was out drinking or I was out with friends who were drinking but I don't to any of that because I can't handle it. Really, that statement is not worth a sheet of paper it could be written on.

I so agree. A lot of video has emerged -- there is no judgement here - memories of youth if anything else!

In a lot of the videos they are under the influence , smoking more than being seen with a cup.

She is very messed up in the elevator video that came out much later. My sense is a lot of people think it was on the way up but I dont think so . I think it was much later.

There are only three of them in the elevator one I am referring to. IIRC it said 334 on the cell shot. It was the one where M is playing some lets chase each other around game on her phone.

You may be right. I am just so bad at interpreting 'hip' young people's party talk. It is hard for me to understand what they are really saying.

I will have to have my 25 yr old daughter come watch the video, and see how she deciphers it. She is fluent in the language.

Trust me -- I felt two things in the beginning of this . OLd number one!

And felt like I was having hearing loss. Even the narrator's on the videos I could not understand.

I was also very sensitive to the use of the N word. I know it ok in todays land in some instances but was stunned at its frequency

And to be honest, IMO , in a lot of contexts it sounded like it was actually being used in negative manner.

In my world , if said by us can be meant in campy way. But in the context of the way it sounded as if was most commonly used in this instance it sounded negative

It could be taken as two different floors because she was on so many floors. Based on the videos, that I posted earlier, that the vacationers made in 2015, I believe that:

When she comes out of the elevators at the :45 second mark in the link below, she is on the Lower Level.
We only see from the :45 to 1:06 mark on that level. She very well could have gotten right back on the elevators and they didn't include that or they have the clips out of sequence.

Starting at 1:08 and ending at 1:21 she is on the Conference Level.

Starting at 1:22 to 3:02 she is on the Lower Level. Again, this could be out of sequence, and belong with the part where she walked out of the elevator.

At 3:03 she appears in the kitchen but no floor is noted. There is another video of her in the same kitchen but it was not included on this newscast.

I seen that before when I was doing a walk around outside the hotel with the Google arrow thingy. Crowne Plaza uses the same dumpsters in their kitchens. I seen the same kind of dumpster in a YouTube video that some lady made when she boldly walked in the basement kitchen and started filming. They probably have a bunch of them down there in the kitchen but I'm not sure where they dump them at and they probably have extra empty ones stored inside the dock area.

Mothers of teens are notoriously bad witnesses of how much their child drinks or uses drugs.

I am not convinced she didn't drink that night. She was seen with a drink in her hand besides the one given to her. It doesn't take much if you are young and not used to drinking often. The tox screen is going to tell the story, imo.

What does "hardly ever" means, exactly? She either has a drink or she doesn't. Not a big drinker not used to alcohol could mean even relatively small amount of alcohol would mess her up.

For those who believe it was her in the videos that was way more than alcohol.

For those who don't think any camera adds 42 lbs, changes the muscles in your thighs, ones hair texture, jewelry, closes up patches on ones leg, was a very over played recreation .

The closest shot of her face in all of the videos she pulls her hair over her face and puts her hands up

There was also no congruency someone who misses stairwells in their view in bright lights but never falls down while skidding all over the place is illogical.

If one cant walk without hydroplaning left and right it defies logic and gravity that one can remain standing up while falling all over the building--just not logical.

And from what I have gathered (!) some of us have had lets say rich youth, falling down in the context of this video would , at least once, probably have occurred.

In fact , the reflexes at the stair well rails was pretty good - but not congruent with swerving in the seconds before impact.

Crashing into walls makes noise. No One ever opened a door (ON the recreation). If you were in a hotel room in the middle of the night and something that sounds like a bang on your door -- and no one opened there
door?

Thank god it was not a fire in the hotel and staff were running around trying to get guests out of the building...........

I don't know that I would consider it a total accident if she was drugged though.
A total accident to me is that she drank or took drugs on her own and wandered into the freezer.
If she was drugged first (especially for nefarious purposes) that sounds more like a crime.
I definitely don't think it's a big cover up of a murder either though.

Just for the record (smile) I do not think this was a premeditated murder.

I think it was accidental related to rape and young people freaking out. I think the hotel ended up involved by not doing anything or seeing a bunch of kids moving a deceased human being through their hallways.

And or seeing being assaulted on the CCTV>

Can you imagine public response if we saw that? I think the tapes were destroyed immediately . Accounts for the delays , and the need for recreation.

Imagine if they tried to say we accidently deleted 47 cams?

I agree with the another area part. If you have seen the videos of the kitchen space the number of walk in freezers and fridges is beyond description -- dozens and dozens of them.

And in all different parts of the kitchens they were in banks - which makes sense - so in the kitchen video there was no other ones.

I never saw "one"
they were in rows every time a batch of them came in view. That makes sense tho - in terms of loading and unloading-- putting them in rows next to one another - that's how they all were ........
