Compare CV's wounds to what you heard happened to the children in that vehicle...kill shots.
Telling me that's the best she could do to someone sitting right next to her? Shots to children were shots designed to kill. Designed to silence...and they did.

In the hospital, CV made complaints about boots being cut up, complaints about jacket being ruined. Made no inquiries about his children.
Now talking about his strip club adventures & affairs prior to deaths of wife & children (side note: did they ever find anyone who actually had an affair with him, or was it all just poetry & wishful thinking?) the spur of the moment "water park" trip had been planned before June 13, 2007 -contrary to what CV claims. Now talking about Kim's emails, how she loves him, how she worries about him when he's gone. "he's a hero in her life" there's no evidence to support that.

Kim was seen by docs for migraines and hypertension, not depression. When she talks about side effects of meds, never says suicidal or homicidal. Kim's Doctor said she was always cheerful, nice young lady. No reason to believe depressed.
In the months leading up to the killings, she was anxious, not depressed.
Toxic level of meds product of postmortem redistribution. No pills in stomach during autopsy.
Med refill dates & number of pills left over show she was taking pills as prescribed. No evidence to support that she was suicidal or homicidal when she got in that vehicle. Being anxious is not same as being depressed. Kim reported onset of anxiety around time of menstrual cycle & because of school.

Back to the way kids were shot & Blake's arm up in a defensive position.

Wiping action of blood on console by someone other than KV within seconds or minute when KV was shot.

Defense expert had to concede absence of towel does not negate rest of evidence.

Defense expert had to concede CV could have committed these acts.

"nice water park" search occurred on June 7, 2007, contrary to what CV claims.

KV appeared upbeat & positive in days before her death, making plans for her future. No evidence of suicidal behavior.

Co-worker of Kim's "she was a very loving & caring mom. Wanted to make life better for her kids, her family."

KV not withdrawing from the world, out buying groceries day before she died. Last email sent 11:08pm June 13, 2007. 6 hours later she would be dead. Email talked about homework assignment she would be working on the day she died, "left behind" by CV.
KV's activities day before death: work at clubhouse, grocery shopping, took kids to pool, cooked dinner for neighbors, calls to boss, mother, sister, finish classwork, work on future classwork...not withdrawing.
CV's activities in days before shootings: strip club visits, emails with Canadian about leaving U.S., visit to shooting range.

At 5:30 pm on June 13, 2007, CV at shooting range, twelve hours later his family will no longer exist.

I hope the jury won't take long to reach their guilty verdict. I am 100% sure they will find him guilty of killing his entire family. May he rot in hell.

Why did KV bring a hygiene kit to the water park? Why did she shower that morning? Why did she pack books to read? If she had any inkling what CV planned to do to those children, she would have fought to her last breath to protect them.

When you go back to that jury room, sign those four guilty verdict forms and give them justice.

Wow, prove that K did it? That is a big promise. I wonder if he just bit off more than he can chew. How's he gonna do that in closing when he didn't with testimony?

When you have witnesses that testify that someone else could have committed this crime, that's reasonable doubt.

What are you supposed to do, ignore that?

Don't want you to think our whole defense is k committed suicide because of her meds. That is not what our whole defense is based on.

That is a piece of the puzzle.

CV has made mistakes in his life, no doubts about that. He has gone to strip clubs, was unfaithful to his wife.nobody is saying Christopher Vaughn is the perfect father. CV hesitated to say K shot him & kids because he was trying to protect her as a person.

CV told what happened for sake of his children. He did NOT want to tell investigators that Kim did this. When told there was a tape of the shootings, he said "let's look at the video." that's what an innocent person would say.
If its on video, they saw it happen, that right there proves he is innocent.
There was a point in time CV returned to the vehicle (HOLD THE PHONE!) and we'll talk about that.

Kids are strapped in - easy targets. If you are aiming at an adult trying to move out of the way, that's a moving target.
He is now trying to explain how kids were killed but CV escaped with superficial wounds.
