richandfamous--In Texas whether or not you married, if you produced children with someone, you dont need a DNA to file for child support thru the Attorney Generals Office. Theres alot more paperwork, but you can still get CS thru the AG. I know someone who lived with this guy for about 12 years, have a child together, but no marriage. The AGs office have never asked for DNA, just sent her more paperwork, want witnesses, etc. But told her that they could get CS for her. No problem.
