Police search for missing Northern Illinois University student – WGN 9
Police in DeKalb are asking the public for help to find a missing student from Northern Illinois University.

According to the university, Latif Adeboyejo, 21, was last seen on June 5 leaving campus in a Black 2010 Ford Fusion with Illinois license plate number CB60681.

Adeboyejo is originally from Chicago. He is described as being 6-feet-3-inches tall and was wearing all black Nike tech fleece at the time of his disappearance.

"A Northern Illinois University student, missing since Friday, has been found dead near campus, according to DeKalb police.

Latif Adeboyejo, 21, was last seen leaving the NIU campus and driving in a black 2010 Ford Fusion, according to police and family.

DeKalb police said Adeboyejo's body was found around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday inside his vehicle in a parking lot near Russell and Greenbrier roads.

Police said Adeboyejo appeared to have sustained a single gunshot wound and a firearm was recovered from the vehicle. DeKalb police are currently conducting a death investigation".

Missing NIU student found dead: medical examiner

A Northern Illinois University student, missing since Friday, has been found dead, according to the DeKalb Medical Examiner's office.
