This incident unfolded in my neighborhood Tuesday afternoon. We weren't home at the time so we didn't see anything, but we were shocked by his brazenness - as if he didn't care if there were witnesses or not. Not a heavily traveled road, but a busy-ish one at that time of day with new construction on a house going on and all the workers still present.

The coroner has since identified the attempted kidnapper as 32-year old Michael Porter, of Cary, IL : Coroner identifies gunman who fatally shot himself after apparent kidnapping attempt of two girls near Cary
These girls are very fortunate! I wonder what they will find on his devices.
