Monday, January 26th:
*Trial set to begin (@ am ET) – LA – Meing-Chen “Mandy” Hsiao (34) (last seen July 29, 2015, Monroe; found Aug. 8, 2015) - *Quentin Verdell Tellis (27/now 36) charged (8/16/16), indicted (5/17/19) & arraigned (6/18/19) with 2nd degree murder. Plead not guilty. No bond. Judge reduced bond (10/23/19) to $300K. (Future reductions possible). Bond reduction denied (7/28/21). Quachita Parish
Bench Trial was set to begin on 1/5/26 but lead prosecutor out sick & bench trial continued on 1/26/26.

No ma'am. Couthouse closed. Therese Apel from Darkhorse Press arrived at courthouse this morning, and no court. Her and many others. No prior notification that court was canceled. They gave no new date. Closed until further notice. Our area still has thousands without power. Many without water. I'm not surprised there is no court. I'm surprised that no notification was sent out.
