Monday, August 29th:
*Trial set to begin-CONTINUED! (@ am ET) – NJ – Daniel Griner, Jr. (23 mos.) (reported missing @ 6:30pm Feb. 8, 2019, Bridgeton; found 2/9/19 @ 3am buried in yard, burned & dismembered in her purse) - *Nakira Monae Griner (24/now 27) arrested & charged (2/9/19) & indicted (6/19/19) & arraigned (10/7/19) with 1st degree murder, 2nd degree endangering the welfare of a child, 2nd degree desecration of human remains, 4th degree tampering with evidence & 2nd degree false public alarm. Plead not guilty. No bond.
Said beat toddler for not eating & not listening to her. Died from blunt force trauma & multiply bone fractures.
Trial was set to begin on 8/29/22 continued to 9/12/22.

8/29/22 Update: Superior Court Judge George H. Gangloff plans to hear the release motion Sept. 12, stating that he needs to consider the issue before the date when Griner would legally have to be freed. He indicated she could be released later in September, based on the current calculation of her time in jail not attributable to delays in the trial caused by the defense. The judge also set Griner’s trial date for 9/12/22 drawing concern from Assistant Prosecutor Elizabeth Parvin. Trial was reset to begin on 9/12/22.

Tuesday, August 30th:
*Sentencing Hearing (@ 9am ET) – PA - *Jasmine Jean (4) & Nicole Elisabeth (6) Snyder (missing/last seen since Sept. 2015 & found Nov. 6 & 7, 2021 buried in Williamsport City, Lycoming County; Jasmine: died/was killed on around Aug. 11, 2017 & subsequently buried in 2017 & Nicole: died/was killed around May 10, 2016 & subsequently buried in 2016, both in the back yard on Livermore Rd.) – *Michele Lee Butler (43 @ time of first crime/48/now 49) (mother of Echo) arrested & charged (11/9/21) , recharged & arraigned (1/7/22) with 2 counts of 3rd degree murder, 2 counts of felony endangering the welfare of children, obstruction in child abuse cases, abuse of corpse, concealing the death of a child & tampering with evidence. Bond denied, reason: flight risk & danger to society. Plead guilty. Sentencing date 6/21/22.

6/21/22 Update: Plead guilty (on 4/11/22). Sentencing hearing is rescheduled on 8/30/22.
8/30/22 Update: Sentencing hearing continued on 10/14/22.
*Marie Sue Snyder (27 @ time of first crime/32/now 33) “mom” – Fraud: Plead guilty on 8/19/22 sentencing on 11/29/22. Murder: Arraignment hearing on 10/17/22.
*Echo Lane Butler (21 @ time of first crime/26) – Arraignment hearing on 10/17/22.
*Ronald Ray Butler (53/now 54) (father of Echo) – Pretrial hearing on 9/13/22 & motions hearing on 9/27/22.

Update!

Monday, August 29th
*Sentencing Hearing (@ 1:30pm MT) – ID – Lyryk Jean Altom (20 mos.) (Oct. 8, 2017, Twin Falls-taken to hospital & died Oct. 14, 2017) – *Joshua Eric Molina (33/now 38) (BF) arrested & charged (March/2017) & arraigned (5/30/18) on 1st degree murder & 3 counts felony injury to a child. Will be retried on 1st degree murder & 2 counts of felony injury to a child. Plead not guilty. Bond reduction denied (2/1/22).
Trial began on 2/25/20 for Molina only & ended on 3/8/20 with guilty verdict for 1 count of felony injury to a child. Will be retried on the 1st degree murder & 2 counts of felony injury to a child.
Re-Trial began on 5/23/22 & ended on 6/5/22. 6/8/22: Found guilty on 2 counts of felony injury to a child; could not decide on 1st degree murder charge.

6/8/22 Wednesday, Trial Day 10: DC Hearing Held. Judicial Officer Benjamin J. Cluff. The jury found him guilty of two counts of injury to a child but could not come to a decision on the rest of Molina’s charges, resulting in a hung jury. After Wednesday’s guilty verdict, Molina’s sentencing has been set for 8/29/22 at 1:30pm.
8/29/22 Update: Molina was sentenced on the four counts of injury to a child he was sentenced to 30 years & six months and on the charge of murder in the first-degree, he was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. The judge granted him the maximum sentence on every single charge. He is now at the Idaho State Penitentiary.
*Amanda Jean Dunlap (23/now 27) “mom” – Next Status conference hearing on 5/3/21. 5/3/21: Hearing was vacated. Will not be tried until after Molina’s retrial.
