Michael Pfeiffer, 27, was last seen Thursday in the 1300 block of West Greenleaf. Pfeiffer is described as a 5-foot-9, 160-pound white man with brown hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion.

All of the online sources just say that he was found. Any more information on what happened?

The family released a statement saying he had passed.

From what I have read on Facebook(we had shared friends) there has been reminders to "reach out" and "talk to someone" so we can presume but nothing posted officially for cause of death.

Michael committed suicide by hanging. He was found in the basement after 4 days. He left a detailed note explaining his pain and that he had planned this for time. The note is very sad but he assured everyone that this is what he truly wanted.
