Sadaria Davis was last seen leaving her home in the 4200 block of West Adams. She hasn’t contacted her family since she left. Davis is described as a 4-foot-11, 87-pound black girl with brown eyes, black hair and a medium complexion.

Just heard about this. Any chance anyone can find anymore info? Her body was found in an abandoned building with her fingers cut off.

Missing 15-year-old’s body found in abandoned building

All they're saying is she was found dead. Obviously they didn't want to provide the details. But I heard about the horrific details from a family member. Even more chilling than I first heard. This child suffered badly.

This is one of the most terrible murders that I have heard about. It concerns me that this person sounds like the start of a serial killer.I worry about all young girls in the area. This monster must be caught or I'm scared many victims are coming.

What we do know is that an autopsy performed on May 12 was inconclusive, pending further investigation in why and how this young woman died.
CPS hasn’t shared if they have any leads in the case, but they are asking for anyone with knowledge of Davis’ death to call Area North detectives at 312-744-8266.

A Chicago pastor and West Side mother are seeking help finding young women and teen girls who have recently gone missing in the city.

The duo, like many on the West Side, are wondering whether the cases could be linked.

Since March, at least four women and girls have gone missing: Sadaria Davis, 15; Shantieya Smith, 26; Victoria Garrett, 15; and Anna Stanislawczyk, 18. Davis was found dead in an abandoned building May 11. The other three are still missing.

Relatives: Death of missing woman found in Lawndale garage may be connected to others

At a vigil Wednesday afternoon, relatives of a Shantieya Smith called for police to take a closer look at the case, and said her death may be connected to others.

Chicago police said Smith's death is being investigated in connection with the death of 15-year-old Sadaria Davis, who was also found dead in an abandoned structure on the West Side.

Chicago police are trying to calm a west side community on edge and quash once and for all fake claims on social media involving the deaths of a teen and a woman.

Chicago police say the rumors on social media lead to hundreds of tips that are based off false information. Police still have to look into the tips, which the superintendent says takes away from what they should be doing.

The fears have created what the Chicago police superintendent calls a “social media frenzy."

Rumors of a serial killer on the loose, the girls are being trafficked for their organs and some are still missing -- police say all of those claims are incorrect and unfounded.
“There were six cases of missing women being profiled in the media. Out of those six, four of them have been located and returned to their families,” Johnson said.

The other two were found dead -- their bodies badly decomposed -- but no signs of trauma.
