where does the neighbor Cortez live in conjunction to Miss Brown’s property? he provided camera footage showing Mr. Brown burning Mrs. Brown’s clothing. IMO that’s one hell of a camera (ring allegedly).
so why is there not footage of Sergio and his mother leaving the back of the property to go to the creek that runs behind the house?
LE isn't going to tip their hand on every piece of evidence they have. They want to find this guy, not show him the evidence they have against him, which might in turn make it harder to find him.

LE may very well have video of the entire incident for all we know.

According to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office, Myrtle Brown's death was ruled a homicide. The cause of death was multiple injuries resulting from an assault.

Still, Sergio Brown was still missing. But in a shocking twist, Sergio posted a video on his Instagram page where he says he thought his mother was on vacation. He also made accusations against Maywood police and the FBI. However,

Police have not officially labeled him as a suspect in his mother's murder.

If he isn't guilty of her murder, it looks like he would hurry home after hearing that his mother has been murdered, right?

I don’t disagree! a mentally stable, rational person without alleged CTE would be able to process this.

Just the expletives he uses in the video hints toward the strong negative feelings for her. Very concerning that he is somewhere hiding out and others might be in danger. If he left the country they would know where he landed as he would need his passport. Hope he is found soon---so others are safe, so he can get help, and if he is responsible for his mother's death, he can pay his debt to society.

Hours later, Brown posted another Instagram story, showing his location as Sydney, Australia and characters from the movie Finding Nemo

A new video shared as a story on an Instagram account that is believed to be run by Sergio, shows him laughing as he is surrounded by images from the movie Finding Nemo, he even quotes the film.

The bizarre footage shows a man who looks like Brown calling the news surrounding his mother's death "fake news," among other things, as tropical music plays in the background. In the footage, the man said he thought his mom was on vacation.

The unverified video lasts 51 seconds in total and was posted to social media.

It would be easy to drive across "a non-extradition border"...blend in with tourists, nice weather, inexpensive housing, lots of English speaking ex-pats. (Andrew Luster made the drive.)
Hmmm, just guessing: Mexico, like many European countries and Canada, will not extradite a felon unless the government has a guarantee that individual will not face the death penalty upon return to the United States....

There is no death penalty in Illinois.

As I wrote:

He is reported by family to be having some mental health issues. For his and others safety, it would be good for LE to interview him to ascertain what happened in that home. He may need the help of his family to get assistance for any crisis he is going through.

In a video posted Monday...he called reports about his mother’s death “fake news.”
  • “Fake news, fake news, fake news. It has to be the FBI."
  • The expletive-filled video ... went on to describe interactions he had with the Maywood police in which he says he was “kidnapped.”
  • “I thought my f------ mama was on vacation in Sinaloa."
In another video posted Tuesday...
  • He referenced the film “Finding Nemo,” repeating the movie’s famous line, “just keep swimming, just keep swimming.”
  • “Missing? They ain’t never seen Finding Nemo?” he said. “This is traumatic. Lucky I know how to say a joke.”
Police said Tuesday they were aware of the posts and are “looking into its authenticity.”

“Currently this is an active investigation, and the department is unable to share any further details at this time,” Rivera wrote.

He’s got some pretty serious mental health issues going on here. He is not a well man. I wonder if his mental instability was reason for him bouncing around to 5 different teams in 6 years?

He’s delusional and perhaps even paranoid.

Yikes.

Posting from the Instagram handle @intplayerwithapassport despite having his own verified account, Brown went on a profanity-laced rant and tagged ESPN.

"Fake news. Fake news. Fake news," the former NFL player said. "It has to be the FBI that came into my house on Bob Marley’s death day with the 511 haze and gas unwarranted. They kidnapped me twice from home, the Maywood Police Department. It had to be the FBI or the Maywood police.”

"I thought my f****** mama was on vacation in Sinaloa. That’s f****** fake news. Get the f*** out of my 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 face,” he continued. “She’s retired, and you want to come to me? The FBI had to do it. They have some power to do some s*** like that. What the f*** is going on? That’s fake news."

ok, yep he needs help

but he slips up when he says 'I thought my _____ mama was on vacation ...' - so he thought that and now he thinks something different? so now he knows she's dead? then why isn't he travelling home immediately?

If he thought she was still on vacation, he would say something like 'my mama's not dead, she's on vacation!' In the present tense.

Other content there indicates he has been to Haiti in the past year.

The video (story) of the rant was posted 23 hours ago. He tagged ESPN in the video.

It does appear to be SB in the pictures.

JMO

I was wondering if he went to Haiti. From the videos, he participated in a local dance competition (amazing dancer, btw). I assume you’d go to the place you once had fun and made friends. JMO.

So I guess the most recent video was some sort of elementary school level trick that nobody is going to believe. "I'm in Sydney! (even though there'd definitely have to be some sort of record of an international flight)." Guy needs help. I don't even think they can test for CTE definitively until a person is deceased, or at least that's how it had been previously. JMO

They can’t, but there is the whole list of living former NFL players suspected to have CTI based on clinical symptoms and whatever tests have been done. I think a test for tau protein in blood is promising. Alzheimer’s Blood Tests – What You Need to Know in 2023 | BrightFocus Foundation

The problem is, he is sick and out of it, CTE or no CTE. And needs help.

The Maywood Police Department in Illinois determined Brown’s location to be the Sabbia Condos in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, using Google Lens.

In the video, someone who appears to be Brown wildly suggested authorities “kidnapped me twice from home” and repeatedly called stories surrounding the situation “fake news!”

“I thought my mama was on vacation in Sinaloa… . FBI had to do it,” Brown is apparently heard saying in the video.

Someone who appears to be Brown shared a video on the story of the account @intplayerwithapassport earlier on Wednesday with a Maywood, Illinois, geotag

In another Instagram story posted shortly after, Sergio could be seen repeating the address P. Sherman 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney several times in a video bordered with pictures and emojis from the 2003 Pixar film "Finding Nemo," a movie that centers on a fish searching for his missing son.

Then, on Wednesday around 10 a.m., Sergio shared another video. This time, Sergio tagged Maywood, Illinois, prominently as the location. While it's impossible to know when Sergio took the video — and Instagram locations can be tagged from anywhere — it nevertheless shows a shirtless Sergio walking down an unidentified street in the precinct where his mother was found dead and he remains a missing person.

In the latest post to an Instagram account he has been using while on the lam, a shirtless Brown can be seen singing "Legend," by Canadian rapper Drake.

“Oh my god, oh my god, if I die, I’m a legend. It’s too late for my city. I’m the youngest (redacted) reppin’,”
