SANGAMON COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) -- The parents of missing kayaker Shane Shomidie confirm his body was discovered Tuesday morning in the Sangamon River.

The Sangamon County Coroner's Office has confirmed the finding of 30-year-old Shame Shomidie's body near the Business I-55 bridge.
