I just watched this on Crime Watch Daily. They found her cell phone, but no new leads were developed.

Would it make sense she ditched her cell phone shortly before handing off or disposing of Timmothy? That way no one could trace her. Is there a timeline of last call and location, location phone was found, and when she was first seen without Timmothy?

I could see either scenario. 50/50 dead or alive.

They didnt say where they found her phone, cripes, that would be great to know! I am so sad this little boy still hasnt been found, the family still is suffering , and it seems there was never a full search done for him to begin with. Really infuriating actually.

The phone was found alongside Route 78 north of Mount Carroll, IL. Someone found and kept on their shelf for a while before turning in.

OMGOSH, I'm from Mt. Carroll and I never knew the cell phone was found north of our town. She had to have driven right through Mt. Carroll then.

Just watched the new Crime Watch Daily that featured his case. I'm a local, is anyone else? This case has captivated me from day one. All these years I have held hope that he's out there alive somewhere....I had (and I guess still a tiny bit have) hope in the outlandish theory that she spent months trying to contact one of the amish/mennonite communities up north and handed in off somewhere. But I'm losing my hope as time goes by. I think this sweet little boy is dead. They were showing home videos of him and it broke my heart. I agree with above pp, I think Amy was such a vengeful person, she took his life to spite others. I guess it's half a happy ending, knowing such a vile person is no longer sharing our Earth with us.

Bump for Timmothy. People should be looking in the areas where LE speculates the vehicle traveled off road.

FYI: This last May marked six years of not knowing where Timmothy is, or what became of him. I inquired about any further search efforts then, or in the future - I received no reply what-so-ever. I listened to a recent podcast interview of James Pitzen in which he indicated that LE is still working on pinpointing WHERE to search. After six long years, and especially after the first search effort being cut short d/t the issues w/the officer's two way radios failing, I say search ANYWHERE & EVERYWHERE, including WI - I believe that Amy came here for a reason. With hopes of generating some further investigation/effort/media attention, I will be contacting the reporter from 'In the dark' regarding the mishandling of Timmothy's case.

She made trips out to western IL, prior to their trip, she went all that way...I don't think she killed him, why not die together....I do have hope she gave him, she said so in not so many words. We've found her cell phone and her and have her on video in the Rockford area....but still missing is his toys, car seat, cloths.....and Timmothy. I have hope he is OK. I don't have enough knowledge to say he should be brought home.
