If this story about the sticks is true, then shouldn't her glasses show damage? (Sorry if I'm mistaken - I'm basing this on a post, possibly in the last thread, in which I believe someone said she wears them for pretty much everything.)

If she was watching the Princess and the Frog video she would have been wearing them. So why were they left behind?

Thanks, PlainJane! I recall Willow could not see far without them. They were found in the house.

I'd be willing to bet this guy has more than links to music and video games on his computer. JMO.

This makes me think this occurred while Willow was sleeping ...

In this video clip, the grandfather actually says the words " ...so he put her out of her misery..." endquote.

Unreal. A few years ago we had a kitten get very badly injured by a neighbor's dog (who was allowed to roam). :stormingmad:
Guess what ? We got into the car and rushed to the vet, knowing the poor little thing was suffering, but maybe something could be done. The vet said 'no, sorry', immediately anesthetized "Tigger" and put him down.
We didn't stay to watch, just paid the fee and left with heavy hearts.
We could really not begin to 'put him down' ourselves ... and that was a kitten !!!

Just a horrible choice of words ; and though the grandpa is probably in shock, he needs someone else to do the talking.
Cannot wrap my mind around what may have happened.

Glad for one thing, that poor Willow's body was found before precious evidence was lost !

After the 1pm court appearance tomorrow we will know more facts.

I'm convinced that this guy is a sociopath. And I wouldn't be surprised to find out that he has killed before. When I look at him, I see Jeffrey Dahmer staring back at me. I don't know if it's his facial features, hair, eyes or what. But that's what I see.

He looks as if he does not have cheek bones/maxilary bones!

Exactly, why would a child who couldn't see be running around without her glasses on? Makes no sense whatsoever. Good catch PJD!

RIP beautiful Willow, the world already misses you.

Thank you! It comes of having been a be-spectacled little girl once myself. ::blushing:

That could actually explain how she did run into the sticks if she didn't have her glasses on as she may not have seen them. It could have been an impromptu game of chasey.

I don't know, I really want this to have been an accident that was followed by incredibly bad decisions!

if this new info is true then the whole watching princess video was an elaborate ruse.:banghead:

It is the sunken eyes and the face structure imo.

Argh - this story brought back memories of my Bootey cat & soon my Tigger cat.

I get your drift - it's not easy putting anything "down". I feel the Gpa/Dad was just hearing what his son was telling him & not thinking it through :banghead:

but what do I know

Obviously something horrible happened to Willow, either accidentally or intentionally. It only seems reasonable, from a mother's point of view, that once the child was discovered missing that an attempt to locate her would be made. Perhaps the mother, not wanting to appear negligent, only realized that her daughter was missing at around 10:30. The cause of this late realization remains unclear. Perhaps mother was in no condition to even notice her children earlier? Perhaps mother returned from an 'evening out' Sunday morning at about 10:30 and then realized fifty-percent of her offspring were missing. It might seem prudent to make a cover story in which one was depicted in a more positive, if 'ill and in need of a nap', light.

I hope for justice for this child. This includes not only the original perpetrator but any who assisted in this horrible chain of events.

Excellent post. I'm just as guilty of speculation as the next person
:humble:

Well this story is not what the mother reported either so was she covering for her brother?

Maybe for herself, maybe she wasn't there at all till the time she called 911 and did not want that known??? So she just repeated what he told her??

Wasn't it stated that maybe Willow took off on an adventure like the movie?
It doesn't look good period.
I guess more will be cleared up tomorrow - or we will have more questions!

BBM: I thought this same, but.... I just don't see this as a game of chase that ended outside, at night, in a pile of sticks, that had no crime scene.

Not making sense to me.
