No idea how . . . unless someone knows what FB page he's using

He is on Facebook, and has been posting periodically on the MISSING WILLOW LONG group. He's thanked everyone for the outpouring of support. Also, he's noted that he's not asking for money, but people keep asking where to send donations, so he's included an address for his church in Texas. All funds will be used for the funeral, travel expenses for family, and any that's left will be put towards a memorial of some kind for Willow. If anyone is interested in the address, I'll find it.

Did Willow threaten to tell on him for something?

That could actually explain how she did run into the sticks if she didn't have her glasses on as she may not have seen them. It could have been an impromptu game of chasey.

I don't know, I really want this to have been an accident that was followed by incredibly bad decisions!

Me too inkpink, but this has been way too weird from the time the first thread showed up. Even the initial story of little Willow leaving the house on her own was too odd. Too small of a place for no one to have seen her out there, then we hear about the glasses being at home, her not being able to see without them, then her sleep shirt still being in the house, the dogs only tracking her so far...now these new things being reported. As some one wise used to say, it doesn't pass the smell test. :(

I think it would nice to post that here.

Maybe for herself, maybe she wasn't there at all till the time she called 911 and did not want that known??? So she just repeated what he told her??

Wonder if the Mom even told LE that the Uncle was there while she slept or if that came up later... like when we found out.

Wasn't it stated that maybe Willow took off on an adventure like the movie?
It doesn't look good period.
I guess more will be cleared up tomorrow - or we will have more questions!

Yes, for some <odd> reason LE stated this (which I thought was totally stupid).

Mom said that's what movie she put on.

They drug him out of the house at 6 am?
How were they so sure it was him?

Was the statement about feeding the kids cereal and pop tarts a direct quote from Ciara? Or was that a retelling from the media or another friend/family member? I'm trying to figure out if Ciara locked herself into that statement.

ETA: I found the quote. It came from Ciara's boyfriend's mother.

“Her mom and dad are over-the-road truck drivers. They had left the night before (Saturday) to go out on the road and when Ciara got up Sunday morning she fed the kids cereal and pop tarts about 7ish and about 8:30 she wasn’t feeling well,” explained Everett.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the 3yr old may have been a witness to something here.
Bless his little soul!

I am not sure we will hear much of anything. It seems like the court stuff is like 2 minutes. Legal stuff.

Will the COD be released before the trial?

Can the father even talk to him right now?

If not, where did the story come from?

JD was watching the kids Sat night when it happened. She was running around the house and tripped on a stick. Grandfather has brush and sticks outside.

Ooookaaay. What happened about mom feeding them breakfast on Sunday morning ?

And don't forget that cute Disney movie, The Princess and the Frog!

This is making me sick.

Any remaining children in the home should be removed immediately, as they are in danger even if the uncle is in jail! It is never ok to put a human out of their misery, at least not like that!

In this video clip, the grandfather actually says the words " ...so he put her out of her misery..." endquote.

Unreal. A few years ago we had a kitten get very badly injured by a neighbor's dog (who was allowed to roam). :stormingmad:
Guess what ? We got into the car and rushed to the vet, knowing the poor little thing was suffering, but maybe something could be done. The vet said 'no, sorry', immediately anesthetized "Tigger" and put him down.
We didn't stay to watch, just paid the fee and left with heavy hearts.
We could really not begin to 'put him down' ourselves ... and that was a kitten !!!

Just a horrible choice of words ; and though the grandpa is probably in shock, he needs someone else to do the talking.
Cannot wrap my mind around what may have happened.

Glad for one thing, that poor Willow's body was found before precious evidence was lost !

I just can't get over the choice of words he used trying to justify "putting her out of her misery". It just doesn't sound right to me. There's more to the story, I believe.

The charges could be telling. If there's anything other than murder (for example sexual assault).

So, chances are, some of his online footprint might disappear very soon. I have copied a lot of stuff just incase it might be important later (for example, past whereabouts, etc).

Side note on slash piles for the city folk :)

The "pile of sticks" could well be what we here in rural MT call slash piles: mine are 5-6 feet high and are piles of brush/sticks of cleared debris from our woods/farm land--to be burned in fall or spring.
I have always cautioned my daughter and her friends to NOT play on or near these as I freak out worrying about puncture or impalement injuries....
