can we please revisit the small footprints found around (a lake i believe?) is it possible he could have made her walk around it, or maybe she was attempting to run away from him if he had taken her out to the woods to hurt her? i could see that being leverage for the 1st degree murder charge. i don't believe this was an accident. i call BS. the "it was an accident" scenario seems to be a common excuse for many murderers...more like deep rooted denial IMO.
Side note on slash piles for the city folk
The "pile of sticks" could well be what we here in rural MT call slash piles: mine are 5-6 feet high and are piles of brush/sticks of cleared debris from our woods/farm land--to be burned in fall or spring.
I have always cautioned my daughter and her friends to NOT play on or near these as I freak out worrying about puncture or impalement injuries....

I'm sorry, I just don't (can't) believe the uncle's story. Who would put a child out of their misery and then hide the body if she was innocently hurt while outside playing?????
Seriously, who would do that?!
A lot of us were checking out fb pages.. and pics of Willow and her little brother. I noted to myself that little brother looked bruised in several pics. Trying to be victim friendly, I didnt post about it. Now I'm wondering if any of you saw this too?
I think it would nice to post that here.
Well this just is awful! The only upside is that she was found, the perp arrested and now the case can begin for swift justice. I've read this thread and Im pretty taken aback by a few opinions regarding looks, drug use and Satanism! Where do people get this?! As a recovering junkie (yep, I went there) who is a card carrying member of the COS - I would hate to hear what people would think of me on these boards. Hurting a child or another person is against all logic. Do people do horrific things while "high"? yes. Do people do horrific things while sober? Yes. I can assure you that not many heroin addicts have the energy or care to kill someone! Only a sick and depraved person with no empathy for human life commits murder - period - mental illness, religion and choice of substances aside.
Drugs don't make you a bad person, being a bad person makes you a bad person. Sometimes people use their addictions as an excuse - the second that becomes less believable is when people stop allowing that to be used and justified.
Yep. The more I read, the more I am thinking it was a horrible, horrible accident. His -yet unconfirmed- statement of Willow's moment of death is sobering. :grouphug:
yes, so why did the mother lie about Sunday morning

You know I love you, but IMO this was no accident and this "uncle" is lying through his teeth.
