Yolanda is still missing. Her granddaughter is posting on Twitter. This is a long time for someone with dementia to be out of contact. No wonder she is worried.

Maybe a lead? How can we reach people in this area so they can help?

Granddaughter posted this evening:

"We may be close to finding her. If you live in the Brookmere subdivision in the Matteson neighborhood, please call the number on this flyer."

The local news had an update on her case early this morning (the article is time stamped at 10:57 this morning, but it was online around 6:30 when I got home from the Metra station). The Country Club Hills Police Department has created a volunteer page for anyone interested in signing up to help search for her due to overwhelming support from those wanting to assist in finding her, especially as the temps have dropped into the 30's

Thanks for sharing that. I just did a search for further updates but didn't find anything. Scary.

This is so heartbreaking. At first I thought she was living with an adult child when she went for a walk, but apparently she lived with her husband who also had some level of dementia so there was a delay of several days in reporting her missing. My sympathy goes out to her family.
