It doesn't read like this officer could be placed on the good cop list.
From what has been shared, he appeared to bounce back and forth between good and in trouble. Wonder if he was on drugs?
Lately, every time something happens to a person assumed to be normal, mental illness is thrown out as to what caused their action. I do not buy it! It was probably as simple as he was going through a divorce, didn't like the sharing custody of the children, paying child support, sharing assets, etc. He was 100% wrong in what he did, I just can't blame it on mental illness.
My opinions only.
PS. He certainly settled any custody issues as a judge isn't going to give him 50% custody after this episode! JMO.
