A: By the time officers entered, the situation was over and that the suspect took his life before officers entered. I did not last long, a couple of minutes

A: What I have heard as to family notification they were without their cell phones and that was certainly frustrating

A: Yes, we do have chaplains and victims assistance at a local hotel. We continue to stand by their side.
A: We are making sure we have identified the car he showed up in and will process as part of crime scene
A: We had 4 outside and 4 inside died
A: We really haven't, nothing gets moved. We don't check wallets or purses to ID until they have been released by coroner.
We have not identified any family of victims. Hopefully in the next 24 hours

A: We have to wait until crime scene is done to go in to investigate identities and make positive ids.
Indiana requires dental, fingerprints, DNA or family member to make a positive Identification.
A: The staff is going to need long term counseling, we have pulled in our entire staff of 30 persons. It is very time consuming and we are asking for additional resources for these death investigations.
A: Our first priorities is to the families. To ID, give death certificates, determine COD.
A: We think that we have reunited families and workers that were at the hospital, but I don't want to say for certain.
