I cant image having just murdered 2 girls and not at least trying to lay down to hide yourself covered in blood, Not that it didnt happen ,but if it did maybe it was meant to apear as soming different. I dont know but it is odd, the whole him being everywhere so fast ,lead me to think two men were dressed the same and roaming different parts or at least having me considering different things. Like one of the witnesses might have looked like a witness back then to the bridge man but might be a additional suspect since the officers notes are being reveiwed and other possible evidence they have on the still under investigation suspect. How did they know to search the creek again and is the DNA that link him possiblely from a pet? I dunno but lots of clues inbedded in the LE statement and pressers over the time ,that i am looking at from a different view but I do believe they have the correct person .
That trail is not long at all. It takes maybe 20 minutes to walk from the trail head to the bridge, and about 10 minuets to walk to the bridge from where the girls were dropped off at, and that is if you are looking around and talking, which RA was not doing. Crossing the bridge is a different story. It took my 45 minutes on my first trip and 10 minutes on my second trip.

For him to get to where he was seen on the road, he had to go through by the cemetery. It's the only place to get there without being seen and it is also the shortest difference. As for laying on the road, the driver probably would have 1) stopped and offered help or 2) called police. There is nowhere to hide at all on that road. I'm going back out there in the spring to update my YouTube video of the bridge now that we know his positions and movements.

What I wonder is, why did no one recognize him at CVS for nearly 6 years?
In my opinion? (Probably unpopular) I find that a fair amount of people aren't very attentive to details. Numerous distractions, etc., or just plain not giving it much thought. MOO

Now, if they were walking around every single day, looking at every single person with a fine toothed comb, wondering.... could this be BG? They might have a moment where they did wonder that.

Do we know what name he gave the Conservation Officer? Maybe it was an alias (his DOC records show the use of an alias)

MOO
Interesting question! I wonder then did the officer take his ID? If so. Did it reflect his given name or an alias? If they didn’t take ID, why not?

MOO, you don't get lifts with your prison issued shoes/slides. (though I'm sure with some imagination he can craft some.

IMO
Well yeah but what I meant was, why did the witness who saw him at the bridge say she came up to his shoulder? How tall is the witness? She must be pretty short if she only came up to his shoulder and or maybe he wore lifts at the time (or generally) to appear taller? Maybe this is why the height has been at issue? If LE used landmarks like his image beside a tree next to the bridge to come up with his rough height, if he had lifts, they could have been off by that much more. If he never wore lifts again, he’s harder to spot as the perp because people think he’s too short to be the guy. Make sense?

This is all wondering and speculation. I wonder if they were killed in the creek and dragged to where they were found? That would explain the clothes in the creek and him being a muddy/bloodied mess. JMO
If they’d been dragged from the creek to where they were found, would drag marks have been evident to searchers? Or would they not be so noticeable?

Are there any videos detailing the walk from one end, through to where they were left and back up past the cemetery?

  • Under his name it lists his address in Delphi, Indiana
  • It also says he is 5 foot 4, 180 pounds.
I can’t believe he is 49? He looks substantially older.

I doubt he strangled either. There would have been signs of a fight or a struggle and we know from the RL warrant that there were none. When something or someone strangled you, you’ll claw at it or fight against restraints. There is small evidence of it as well that would have made it obvious to investigators (forensic). It wouldn’t make sense for them to say no sign of a fight if either had been strangled. Link below discussed strangulation as a cause of death:

I wonder what one might expect to be signs of a fight or struggle without seeing the perpetrator as well? Even if he used a knife I can’t imagine anyone compliantly allowing themselves to be stabbed to death and not fight against the attacker. The flight or fight response is an automatic psychological reaction so if flight is not possible fight is the only alternative. JMO

I’ve only recently started to follow this case more closely with RA’s arrest. Does RA still have the Ford Focus? Does anyone know the year or if it has an onboard computer? It would be interesting to know where he drove around the time of the murder and the data of logged car events. For instance, hypothetically speaking, if he drove to a car wash and spent a lot time cleaning his car shortly after the murder.

I know that. You know that. But it puts a little niggle of doubt up there.
Actually it makes it clearer that RAs unfired bullet with the unique extractor ejector match to his gun was the one found at the CS.
He is charged with felony murder, the kidnapping on the bridge results in murder and is enough to convict.

Because 1. It’s a short poor quality video and 2. He wore a hood/and something covering his head on the day by his own admission. Without the statement he volunteered re his whereabouts and clothing, the witness testimony wouldn’t help.

You are a witness to some hellish double murder. LE think the guy who did it is a local. Do you stay local or do you go anywhere but there to make yourself feel safer?

Look, I wouldn’t see BG at CVS or anywhere else because I would have left left town so fast you woulda got whiplash watching me go! And who knows? Maybe they left the area?

The 2017 statement specifically names Richard Allen, no alias.

This nicely distills the case for me. The state will need to prove BG is RA and that he threatened them with a gun to get them down the hill.
