Just goes to show that we NEVER really know anybody... Would be interesting to know if this is BG

I think of BTK as well. He enjoyed the media attention. Not sure I see any direct evidence of a killer like BTK, since BTK directly contacted the media, but the similarities are interesting.

BTK did have a more stable life, and did not move around as much as TB. On the other hand, BTK hid his true nature appearing nice and official, while being mean to others, especially the woman with the dog he had put down working in the capacity of someone who had that power. Someome with that level of power and contol has the same confidence that could suggest a personality type who has that cruelenss and that suggests power is important.

I hope next weeks provides more updates on Tom Bruce, and his story. JMO.

I’m very antsy thinking about what they might find on his computers, etc.

I’m also wondering if he kept any “trophies” and where.

Hope we get news soon about what other crimes he has been involved in if any. I’m being very cautious but hopeful. I can’t wait for the day BG is behind bars.

One thing about BG, IMO I never quite anticipated him to be a “social media guy” moo...

(I do not want to get off topic and still catching up but let’s just say ftr I’m finding some characteristical similarities to this guy with the perps in my mini study on mass shooters (which now seems to be turning out to be more about “middle aged to older male” mass shooters”, who turns out some are very much on social media, and ranting about this and that...

On a site called Fast People Search (address is the same with dot com at the end) there is a list of street addresses (CA and MI come up as well as MO), phone numbers, LOTS of names of people who are connected to him... IMO

his wife is from DELPHI, omigod....

he has major life stressors before these murders occured

a man doesn't just one day at the age of 50+ decide to pop into a bookstore with a gun and
commit three sexual assaults and a coldblooded murder.

If you put "St. Louis, MO to Flint, MI" into Google Maps, it gives you two possible driving routes, both about 8 hours long, one goes just south of Chicago, the other through Indianapolis. Both routes pass about an hour away from Delphi.

I am totally spitballing and speculating here, and everything MOO, but after digging around TB's social media (FB, Twitter, LinkedIn), and looking at the church college/franchise where he got a degree and started his own franchise...
I'm getting sort of a DeAngelo/GSK vibe from TB. "Normal" enough that he was getting away with stuff, but if you scratch the surface, he's boiling over with rage and resentment. This sense of misunderstood superiority and grandiosity... a perception that others are having successes and happiness in life that they "don't deserve" (but that GSK/TB do deserve and aren't getting). GSK and TB being underachievers compared to what other men in their social status, age group, and military record typically achieve, filling them with resentment and rage directed at everyone but themselves, especially women and girls. I think the idea of punishment, and being the one with the authority to dole it out, is very central to TB's crimes (as it was to GSK) and his focus on women and possibly Catholics. If I were the authorities, I'd be looking very carefully into any crimes that occurred in the Jewish community where he worked as well. I see his motivators as being resentment/religion/sex.

(I’ll say it again, this guy reminds me a lot of these mass shooters...moo.)

I know we have to wait for conclusive results from everything that can link TB to BG, but how long do you guys think it would take? They can rush DNA can’t they? All these cases that have weeks- and months-long waits for DNA results aren’t really necessary in today’s forensic world, are they???! I hope not! They can do it in a matter of days, right??? Need the scientists to weigh in here.

Just voicing my thoughts: how often do perpetrators seek multiple victims at the same time? This is a major similarity IMO.

Who would have thought that this person was not caught yet? They have a photo of him, which is rarely seen in other cases.
He could not be a local or live anywhere close or he would have surely been identified.
