Just voicing my thoughts: how often do perpetrators seek multiple victims at the same time? This is a major similarity IMO.
It seems to be rare with adult women, but not so much with young girls or children.

Who would have thought that this person was not caught yet? They have a photo of him, which is rarely seen in other cases.
He could not be a local or live anywhere close or he would have surely been identified.

I know, right Jennifer17? Voice, photo, sketch, maybe DNA...

I know we have to wait for conclusive results from everything that can link TB to BG, but how long do you guys think it would take? They can rush DNA can’t they? All these cases that have weeks- and months-long waits for DNA results aren’t really necessary in today’s forensic world, are they???! I hope not! They can do it in a matter of days, right??? Need the scientists to weigh in here.

It can be done in 24-72 hours but up to 14 days from my Google search.

You reminded me of a thread I started on this eons ago, I wonder if it ever took off, looking for link)

ETA: WOW, check this out, I forgot all about this!! Seems I created this thread asking about how long til DN’s DNA came back!:

Websleuths
DNA: How long did it take to get it back?

I agree. Seems like more than one victim at a time was something he was specifically interested in. Takes some experience, imo, to do that.

Yes, has the Geranium Dr address.
I'm local and know the area well. It's about 5 miles from me. My sons, years ago played baseball at the ball field a few blocks away. Same school district.
I went to high school with Jamie. She was a yr behind me.
Who is Jamie?

One thing about BG, IMO I never quite anticipated him to be a “social media guy” moo...

(I do not want to get off topic and still catching up but let’s just say ftr I’m finding some characteristical similarities to this guy with the perps in my mini study on mass shooters (which now seems to be turning out to be more about “middle aged to older male” mass shooters”, who turns out some are very much on social media, and ranting about this and that...
I think of JT Hod**inson (GOP baseball shooting), who was (??) on my POI list until DN appeared.

Please clarify...last I read it seemed we all agreed that the name in the Delphi yearbook was just a coincidence. It was not verified TB has any ties to Delphi. Did something change?

(It’s very important to have clarification on this! I second this motion please  )

AFAIK, we are tiptoeing around that possibility right now. There has only been one post that actually came out and mentioned it recently, but without naming names. I don’t know what to say about it, other than I am trying to stay out of TOS violation territory!

this catholic bookstore murder is bizarre enough on it's face.
but then add the clothes
add the hat
add the time of day
it's monday too
he quickly exits like BG
his wife is from DELPHI, omigod....

he has major life stressors before these murders occured

a man doesn't just one day at the age of 50+ decide to pop into a bookstore with a gun and
commit three sexual assaults and a coldblooded murder.

everything posted and restated reads like an FBI countdown to charges. MOO

I missed where it was linked that his wife is from Delphi

How did you arrive at the conclusion that it was just a coincidence? It's obvious from the Delphi sophomore class pic and the recent Facebook pic that it's the same person. How that's treated by the TOS is up to the mods.

Man charged with killing woman, sexually assaulting 2 others

“ST. LOUIS, Missouri -- A man was charged with killing one woman and sexually assaulting two others after herding them at gunpoint into the back room of a suburban St. Louis religious supplies shop.“

BBM—“herding them at gunpoint”

I don't think it's obvious at all based on the two things you mention. I'm looking for some back up. It's a huge thing to have a question around.

For another photo of TB with hair, scroll down to item #2 on the list at this link:
Thomas Bruce: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com

It's not a current photo, I know, but shows hair color and perhaps a style he kept, idk.

jmo, speculation only
In the old Navy photo at Heavy.com, he certainly does resemble the sketches of the I70 Killer at Wikipedia.

FWIW - I don't know what evidence is available in all these cases, but maybe I can shed some light. Thomas Bruce graduated HS in 1983 and was in the enlisted Navy from 1983-1994 (per Heavy.com). They would have taken his blood type and full fingerprints in 1983. Military-wide DNA testing did not commence until later, in the 1990s maybe circa 1995, and was not complete until about 2005. They began with all new recruits and officers, then picked up older members and reserves when they had medical physicals. So Tom Bruce likely never gave his DNA to the Navy - maybe he got out because he didn't want to provide it. 11 years active duty is slightly odd, an odd number. To avoid burnout, the Navy rotates personnel ship/shore, and they change the parameters now and then, but typical would be 3-4 years "at sea" followed by 3-4 years on "shore duty". Tom Bruce may have killed women in San Francisco where he served on the Kitty Hawk, or worldwide. I am certain LE will get his duty stations, leave records and everything from the Navy now. Funny the I70 confirmed murders (not TX) occurred within one month while he was still on active duty in 1992, one month being the amount of leave (vacation) earned per year.

(It just occurred to me he could be the well-covered-up and unidentifiable SwatPerp of the Missy Bevers case, too, murdered in a Church of Christ, Midlothian, TX.)

Tom Bruce may be a very prolific, and widespread, serial killer.
