Found Deceased IN - Abigail (Abby) Williams, 13, and Liberty (Libby) German, 14/The Delphi Murders 13 Feb 2017 #85

Now this is helpful. D’s mother apparently resided in California for the duration of her married life, all but assuring that D never went to school in Delphi, IN.

That’s what I think, too.

Over the last two days, I’ve spent several hours looking for a connection between D and the D from the yearbook, and I still haven’t been able to find one.

I’ve even considered scenarios such as her staying with a relative for a year, temporarily living with one parent with the other staying back in CA, etc., but the most frustrating part has been that not only have I not been able to place D in Delphi in 1975, I still don’t have the slightest idea who the “Yearbook D” is.

I’m sure I’m missing something ... as usual .

Thank you for your post. It reminded me of something.

According to public records, TB’s current wife appears to have been born in San Diego County, CA (by the way, I just feel absolutely awful for her right now; I can’t even imagine ...).

If you Google her first name, middle initial and last name (all in parentheses) along with the word “obituary,” a Legacy.com obit comes up, and it does, IMO, explain the timing of their move to MO, as well as TB’s interest in the Calvary Chapel Ministry.

I still haven’t figured out why Missouri.

I'm not finding anything.
What's your thoughts on explaining the move and church?

Maybe the two pastors completed their bible training together, shared other common interests? Later, in Feb 2017 after the bankruptcy filing TB and his wife might’ve had a falling out for a period of time and as TB wasn’t employed anyway, he disappeared in a angry, frustrated state? I don’t know, but I’m just guessing if a Delphi connection exists, the common prior church connection might be something LE would look at.

Hmmm....looks like the Delphi Calvary Chapel closed in March 2017, one month after the murders. Could TB have been in Delphi in Feb to help with the details of closing the church, since he had experience with that when his church closed in MO? Total speculation, thinking aloud.

All those links to suggest maybe it isn’t off the charts to think a person walked away from a bar (does seem a long shot) or maybe drove (who knows?) toward the trails and Monon high bridge in the area. What do you think?

The strangest thing, to me, is I have thought it was someone out walking who saw the girls near the trails and made a terrible decision.

The bar angle, and possibly drinking at one of the establishments angle doesn’t make sense in some ways since he would’ve had to walk several miles from the town, right? Unless he drove. I don’t know and that’s the best I’ve got for tonight. Hopefully, there will be news tomorrow. Night all!

I have watched in awe as y'all have all jumped in and dissected this case this weekend and you folks are fantastic! But with all the stuff flying back and forth my head is kinda spinning about it all. Can I throw out a few things that have been discussed or have been parts of discussions and could someone say "yes" or "no" or "unknown" on them?
1) A "relative" of TB went to school in Carrol County IN
2) TB has family that lives in Indiana
3) Some things TB claimed on FB are not true such as not in VFW, not volunteering at places, etc
4) TB moved 27 times
5) TB has been married multiple times
6) TB has children
7) TB has been charged with domestic violence in CA
8) TB was involved in a road rage incident but not charged
9) Someone named "Bruce" is buried in the Delphi cemetery
10) TB has family in Michigan
11) A "relative" has family in Michigan

3. The VFW where he claims he is a lifetime member doesn't know him.
4. He has moved a number of times, addresses in CA, TX and MO.
5. I've found 3 marriages, one to FB, another to BL, and the last to DJB. All marriages were recorded in CA.
6. So far we know that TB has one son, I've found references to more but I'm not sure.
7. TB had a DV case in San Diego county, unsure if DV is domestic violence or divorce.
8. Yes, TB was recently involved in a road rage incident but not charged.

I agree. I grew up visiting that park and hanging out there. Even now I sometimes have trouble finding it when I return to Delphi.

As much as I'd be so happy if it were him, I'm just not getting any real connection. I don't think this is TB's first time, but I don't think he's BG.

It looks like he's been divorced (dissolutions) 3 times in CA and with children in two of them, so he has kids.

He was married 12/29/1984 in Genesee County. I'm pretty sure this ended in divorce.
