To be honest, I see no connection between TB and Delphi. Nor do I see much of a resemblance between TB and the BG sketch. Not any more than a million other guys. All I see is a furious and frenzied attempt to make a square peg fit a round hole. Just like with DN and RL before him. Oh, how websleuthers were convinced these men, each in turn, was BG! Guts were screaming, hunches were being felt, and the ever-handy hinky meter was going off. Oh, well. Here we go again. JMO, of course. ;)

You reminded me of something, how some posters believed DN matched the sketch of BG. Now some people think it’s a likeness of TB, yet any semblance of likeness between the two men is day and night. One would never be mistaken for the other.

Catholic Supply shooting suspect Thomas Bruce denied bond

But why I’m somewhat optimistic regarding the recent arrest of TB and LE investigating potential involvement in other criminal activity -
- I recall LE pleading for tips, eluding to the danger of BG killing again. Given it’s been almost 2 years since the Delphi murders, I’ve also come to believe that’s how BG will be caught, sadly only after more lives are taken.
- TBs profile fits for me and is someone who would’ve fallen under LE radar due to no prior arrests, no DNA to compare, also that neighbours, wife appear totally shocked at his (alleged) deep dark underside regarding the Catholic supply store attack/murder.
- even the fisherman’s hat.

If LE is able to directly connect TB to Delphi, IMO there’s a strong chance they have their man.

And?
I am very impressed with the people on this thread. Excellent research skills.
I’m not understanding your seemingly snarky tone?

My thoughts exactly about the timing of this recent crime by TB. Others have also mentioned the possibility of renewed interest in Abby and Libby could have spurred TB to commit this very brazen, daylight and public crime at the Catholic store.

Still a huge IF, but my gut is screaming this guy is the one. As I stated previously, his eyes alone convince me — very distinctive downward sagging. Then the navy blue Carhartt paired with a newsboy flat cap — which might be a fashion first.

Was he feeding on fresh WS discussion of this Delphi crime?

The navy coat is something I'd been eyeing since following this case. I noticed how the middle of the coat seems to almost buckle out a bit. As if there is a closure there. Knowing that TB was in the U.S. Navy, I wonder if the BG coat could be similar to some type of U.S. Navy military jacket. Jmo

For what its worth it seems that calvary chapel cape girardeau mo "BT was a pastor here" closed in 2007

and Calvary chapel Carroll county Indiana both belonged to Calverycaa.org at one time. As well as 40 other or so churches in MO, and Indiana.....Actually there are more than that looking at google that have closed in the last 10 yrs or so, Seems there are many small churches with small congregations that have struggled with the ever changing lack of society prioritizing attending church ....

I disagree that these "small churches with small congregations that have struggled with the ever changing lack of society prioritizing attending church." The church-planting "movement" consists of megachurches like Cavalry Chapel who franchise 1500 churches across the country (and there are plenty of others like Summit and Harvest etc.) and encourage dudes like TB to spend money on their "Bible College" to become Pastors/Evangelists (did you notice TB's $16,000 student debt in the bankruptcy filings?) and then strike out on their own as "entrepreneurs" because, as part of Prosperity Gospel Doctrine, "God will take care of them financially." If these religious/business ventures fail, according to that mentality, it's due to the "Pastorpreneur's" own lack of faith or bootstrappyness. These aren't old, mainline Protestant congregations with Seminary-trained clergy failing, they are brand-new business ventures by individuals, who, as someone else wrote earlier, are more often laypeople than traditional career clergypeople. This business structure exists only in Evangelicalism, and only 15-19% of Americans are Evangelicals, so with Calvary Chapel alone franchising 1500 locations, not to mention all the other Evangelical "church-planting" "missions"--I mean, you do the math. They can't possibly all succeed. But Calvary Chapel doesn't care, they already made tens of thousands in tuition on each one of these failed "pastors". Who are already on to "Arch City Coffee" or whatever get-rich-quick-scheme is the next best thing. We all know the rate of failure of brand-new small businesses is extremely high.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think the failed church venture caused what TB did, especially as it happened in 2007. I think we'll find some violent and terrible stuff in TB's past wayyyyyyy before he became a pastor. I just had reason to do a lot of research into the "church-planting" business a few years ago, and thought I would share some insight into it. It's not like TB took the helm of some well-established Episcopal congregation and it failed. It's more like he bought a Subway Sandwiches or 7-11 franchise, or bought a bunch of Mary Kay inventory expecting to work hard and "earn" the Pink Cadillac, and failed, if that makes sense. It happens every day.

If TB has been visiting websleuths or reddit then law enforcement will find out all about it every aspect of his life including websites visited is going to be looked at with a fine tooth comb.

Looks like him to me. People are always using old pictures for profiles.
Yeah, that pink-striped golf shirt with popped collar and aviator glasses, plus the photo quality screams 1980s to me. Looks like he's standing in front of a Navy ship in San Diego Harbor during his Navy days, just a guess.

Now I'm thinking of the Jeffrey Willis. I wonder if he is dumb enough to keep a "vics" file on his computer.

It doesn't look sturdy enough to be a zapper of any kind. I'm with selfie stick.

That was a dumb thing to do. It’s amazing how perps commit horrific crimes and think they are going to get away with it and don’t think through what they are doing. Chris Watts is a more recent example.

I’m wondering if that’s what the long thing is down BG’s leg.

I’m on the fence about TB being BG at the moment I wish we knew of a stronger connection to Delphi. I hope we know one way or the other in the New Year.

So far any potential suspect that has been mentioned in this case hasn't sparked that "it's him" in me. But for some reason, this guy does. I could be wrong, and it wouldn't be the first time! The look in the sketch's eyes and in TB's eyes match. Something about him made me gasp when I first saw his photos posted here.

Whether he is the suspect here or not, I'm very glad he is off the streets after his recent murder and assaults!

I think you totally missed my original point.By a quick google of the calvary chapel churches, there are many that have closed in indiana and missouri in the last 10 yrs. Most churches, such as the one BT was involved with in Missouri close bc the congregation is to small to pay the bills. My point was there are 40 some of these Calvary churches in indiana and Missouri and many more even that have closed recently. Further that the affiliation in itself is not enough to connect BT to the one in Carroll county. I would think it would be far more likely if there were merely a handful of them in those states. Although I'm always glad when they screw up and get caught, and none of it has anything to do with me, somehow I am always personally offended when criminals make such stupid mistakes. You don't have to binge watch Law & Order or read true crime books to know that you shouldn't drive your GPS-outfitted work truck to the dump site or to keep a file labeled "victims" on your home computer.

I hope they are showing TB's actual photo to the person(s) who gave the description for the sketch...

they might hold back formally showing it and wait forDNA . This way if he is not recognized they dont have to bring it up at a trial. MOO

I think we are actually very much in agreement then.

I personally see facial similarities between DN andTB, look at the mouth. look at the eyes.
spaced wide and both have prominent noses, and weak chin and jawline.
