I am surprised that St. Louis contacted Delphi and not the other way around.

Is it common for police forces to share not-revealed-to-the-public with "neighboring" police forces? In this case, it's not even that "neighboring."

There have to be pretty TELLING similarities to have one police force dealing with a murder of adults contact another police force dealing with the murder of children.

I think it is the "told to strip" and being shot for non-compliance. Perhaps something else he said....some sort of "key phrase" if you will.

There's a lot we do not know/hasn't been released about Abby and Libby's final moments. This may be a perfect example of why they don't release everything.

Hi TTF14,

When the whole DN thing broke, it was discussed on the A/L threads that one of the IN LE spoke at a LE conference in CO and talked about the A/L case. We don’t know if the participants were all CO LE or from around the country. Someone from StL LE or MO LE may have been there, learned about the case and taken that info back to their dept.

JMO

speculation: similarities in the orders to undress and perform the deviant acts as reported in STL. - I hope not, but wonder if his specific demands were identical to BG.

(IIRC the recording captured more than “down the hill”)

My first thought was perhaps there were similarities in how the victims were bound in STL and Delphi.

Forgive me but I hope they kept him awake by making him stand in an area where he could NOT even sit because the walls were too close. This would make an insanely sleepy person talk... imagine the walls being so close that you could not even bend your knees... and you were exhausted and maybe claustrophobic....

Is it possible for LE to retrieve voicemails he has (hypothetically) left? Or perhaps there are home recordings that can be analyzed?

Idk?

I'm starting to wonder if he actually was at all of these places. Eating out is not cheap.

There are so many reviews that i started to wonder if they were posted to make it appear he was at certain places when maybe he wasn’t.

Are there any photos of bridges on TB’s social media or an interest in trains or cemeteries even?

I want to say thank you to you all for your posts and for following the rules so the thread stays open. It is frustrating waiting for news I can’t imagine how the girls families must feel.

@gregjrichards ... Didn't see anything like that...just baseball and eating crappy carryout.

Does anyone have any idea what Mrs. B found that she needed to call LE back to her home to get it?

PS... jmhm (just my hinky meter), but I think TB intended to leave no one alive. I think there was something in his sexual deviance that was so heinous it left the two survivors in horrific condition.

Where are you seeing that LE was called back by DB?

St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar said tips were critical to solving this case and confirmed a business card was key.

The chief said suspect Thomas Bruce gave someone his business card before Bruce reportedly sexually assaulted women and killed one of them in the Catholic Supply store on November 19.

Police confirm business card was key to cracking Catholic Supply case

Thank you for posting this article heartgoesout. I'm posting this again so that those of us in Europe like me can read the important details. A lot of news websites in the States are banned in Europe due to regulations I used my VPN to access it.

KMOV Channel 4 St. Louis News
at the 1:22:49 mark

"Mrs. Bruce is cooperating fully with detectives and was the one who contacted them about coming back out to check out possible new evidence."

My hope is that maybe now that he has an attorney, that attorney will advise him to come clean on other crimes he may have committed. Maybe take the death penalty off the table in exchange. Todd Kohlhepp did that in SC and cleared a quadruple murder that had been cold for almost 14 years.

Quote from review by TB on TripAdvisor: “Amber is a sassy fully developed lady who is sure to keep your eyes focused in on her accessories”

Do we have public stoning in the US?? Asking for a friend.

How can this be permitted, on 'TripAdvisor'?
What a Creep.
Hope Amber caused TB loads of problems, and this was reported.
Probably not, as still present.

LE will not take the death penalty off the table, in the Delphi Case, if it exists there.
MOO.

Yes, both Indiana and Missouri have the death penalty.

The infamous white end table stick?
It is hard to imagine what state DB's mind is in or what stirs within it at this stage. We might hope personal effects, data, journal, etc. are included without considering the equal likelihood of alibi building artifacts.
An accused's connections are equally likely to attempt to preserve their loved one's innocence & secure freedom in complete faith that the law has made a mistake, even as they are in horror of a local crime having occurred.

STL LE claimed to have merely sought something to contrast this crime with, so as to determine how to proceed rather than attempt to directly ID this crime's perp.
We may muse on why they chose to release that request publicly at the outset, alongside images describing clothing STL perp wore- what would it serve to link both cases in this way immediately? Was the crime alone not heinous enough to create a circus sideshow?
It stands to follow, if the other surviving victims had suffered similar circumstances/wounds as AW & LG we'd have heard further charges and certain key terms in the media which haven't surfaced as yet.
