I imagine there is no rifle and no crowbar - just for (his) security purposes.

The only possible weapon or firearm I can tell is the one that is on his right side. It’s a handgun that’s either holstered inside the coat, or in an odd shape in his coat pocket.

I’ve always wondered why his hands are not in his coat pocket, but appear to be in his jean pockets.

Edit - and I believe this was 100% targeted. There are multiple witnesses who saw him - one of which called LE later after the girls were missing about how suspicious he was.

I can't believe you said crowbar and rifle. Those are exactly what went through my mind as well! Same as you, I don't know much about rifle barrels.

Bingo! Crowbar, or even crooklock - presence of crooklock in the car is easier to explain if stopped by the police.

@BigTexas -- wondering if maybe the suspect in Libby's video perhaps had some long-time illness that affected how he walked... (the long-term effects of an illness, for example). Thus, perhaps his unique "angled turn" as captured by Libby is more reflective of (here, I hypothesize, since it's just a wild idea based on nothing solid) such an illness that may have had long-term implications for his gait (and a gait that would be, one would think, unmistakably recognizable to someone who already knows the suspect). All JMOO

One other theory that's been bouncing around in my mind is this: What if... the suspect a.) had a gf, b.) they got into some kind of an argument/break-up fight *before* or ON Feb. 13th (my apologies for not recalling specifically at least one, if not two or three others here who have postulated something similar about a possible fight with a former romantic interest), c.) the suspect went home "stomping mad", d.) decided to take an "angry walk" (similar to "venting", but...with murderous intent), and e.) took out that anger on those two sweet girls -- girls who were just out to enjoy the nicer-than-usual weather on a "snow day" from school...

n. b. In any case, wondering what locals might be familiar with a well-known and youngish-man in town/very nearby who occasionally has a bit of a limp/pain in his leg, such that he has to actually lift it in an unnatural manner as he walks... (yes, the railroad ties on the High Bridge notwithstanding; their unevenness just exacerbated/emphasized such a past illness or an injury to that leg). All just ramblings around in my head today; theoretical only.

MOO it would be great if there were some really unique aspect to BGs walk, but to me this is a video of an agile young man.

If you look at his left footfall before the last frame of the loop where his right foot crosses over in front of him, you will see that he plants the left foot pointing to the left. Then his right foot crosses over and carries the momentum to his left.
MOO he is intentionally pivoting to the left. Sadly, believe he is pivoting to cut off the angle of Abby's escape path as she tries to join Liberty off the bridge on the left.

Looking at it again, I wonder myself. How he traversed the bridge with something like an axe in his pants is hard to get, but it could be. Not ready to rule it out at present.
watched a gazillion times. looks like a hole in the right knee. i dont see a weapon of any sort. he definitely has a unique gait. interesting how he looks down the whole time .... i think they are banking on all this. is the rest of the video really egregiously heinous? i really wish we could see more of him. so frustrating.

BBM I was thinking that the clothes not fitting. Could it be he got some clothing from someones Laundry either from a clothes line or dryer?**MOO**
What if simply he wore a family members pants on purpose? Not only a disguise but perhaps a fall guy all in one?

bbm--that's just how some people walk. I'm one of them. Always put my hands in my jeans pockets when I'm walking. I suspect that's one of the things they meant when they said to look at his mannerisms.

Can we please get some msm about his multiple witnesses calling LE about suspiscions? Many new to thread.

I never really noticed how he lifts the one leg unnaturally until now. I DO THAT sometimes and it IS a result of an illness that still has some residual effects that will cause my muscles to kind of freeze up and I have to lift the leg like that to walk. It happens more on uneven surfaces. I know it hurts like heck but never saw it from this angle.

Now that would be funny! Sort of :)
Well, you see doctor, I belong to this group and, I just wanted to go above and beyond, so I dressed in my husband’s jeans and stuffed a crowbar down my pants so I could pretend I was a serial killer.

No, doctor!! I swear I am not a danger to myself or others!! Please don’t put me in a 72 hour hold!!:p;)

I have another question, could this thing on the BG’s neck be not a scarf, not a respirator, not a balaclava, but a blond/yellow/red beard? That explains the shadow on his lower face, and the strange thing that people take for a respirator. It is a pixelated beard. Delphi people, do you know of anyone who shaved off a beard soon after the murders?

I hope the video image is never counted on in a court...seeing how few can agree what they can “see.” I see nothing more than a very blurry image of a man (probably) of almost any age...any weight under 200...really, almost nothing. Jmo

I've seen Magic Eye pictures that were clearer than the video and image stills of BG.

I see a guy with jeans that look a little baggy, a blue jacket, something brown that may or may not be a fanny pack or hoodie poking out, shoes of some kind, a white something around his neck, and what may or may not be a hat depending on the angle. That's all. I couldn't tell you what kind of jeans they are (they look like carpenter to me but I'm not married to that idea), what brand of jacket it is, and since I'm not even sure that there IS a hat on his head, I couldn't tell you the kind or color of it. The thing going doing his pants looks like a crease that deepens as his body starts to slightly turn. I couldn't imagine carrying something heavy, long, or bulky in his pants (ha) on that bridge or on the trail. It would've made walking cumbersome,IMO. The only thing I can slightly see is that there does appear to be something in his right pocket. It may be a gun, and it may not be.

I wouldn't trust this video to show an accurate representation of his gait, and I am not surprised that he's looking down. He's very high up in the air without any rails, and some of the boards are either rotten or missing altogether. It's very awkward to walk across it.This isn't a place where one would take a casual stroll.

I truly believe that there is nothing in his jeans.

It would be incredibly awkward to walk with something like that (gun, sharp weapon, etc), and it would have been unnecessary.
At this point I have come full circle. I believe there is nothing in his jeans as well.

If he hasn’t killed before (and I’m not convinced one way or another yet), I feel it is extremely likely he will kill again if he is not removed from society.

I think right now he is “hiding in plain sight” but keeping his evil side extremely under wraps. But anger, frustration, etc will continue to simmer until he has another significant stressor that causes him to boil over - until he again feels like the walls are caving in on him.

To add to it, I think he gets his release when he kills and not quite capable to have normal intimacy - MOO

Just for comparison, I'm going to ask @bradfordsleuth if she can isolate a pic of his left leg to see if he/she can get a similar appearance. If yes, we'll know it's just his baggy jeans and we can put this to rest! ;)
I am working with a regular phone here....this is as good as it gets! Lol

I still see the objects with different screen caps.

I.CAN'T.UNSEE.THEM! lol

But...in the interest of NOT making you all mad at me for beating a dead horse...I will let it go.

Haaaaa. We go round and round here.

He’s got nothing in his pants, or he’s got everything down there.

We’ve got a short grainy video, and any interpretation is inherently subjective.

From anyone in Delphi. From his friend.
Ok after watching that again I ask myself knowing now that a car may have been seen at the CPS it seems most possible and easiest that the killer went straight through the cemetery and down the road to his car. All the other ways risk more of a chance of being seen by someone. I also think he may not have even had a car parked at the CPS. But it is the easiest way out of the park if the killer went through the cemetery car or no car. Someone saw him with a backpack walking down the road and not in the park. The YBG sketch is from this sighting. I don't think any of the witness that may have seen someone after the murders actually saw YBG. They saw OBG.

This is kind of interesting. YBG and OBG are somehow related in it, and I don’t mean at all that they are relatives. They are not, but it is as if OBG knows something about YB one.

I think the consensus is, there is a baby goat in his pants.
