Sorry guys. I'm not ignoring the posts that ask me questions about the bridge. Sorry to go OT, but my seriously ill daughter, who we thought was improving, got worse this afternoon. I didn't want you to think I bailed.
Sending prayers your way

Hi sunshineray,

Thank you for this post!

I vaguely remember at the very beginning there was police tape just off the far end of the MHB. Far end referring to the end that is not on the trail side. Knowing now that the girls were off the bridge when BG approached them could explain the police tape, which always puzzled me trying to figure out what they found there. I think it was shown in either Julie’s video when she taped her walk across the bridge (her youtube channel is linked upstream) or in footage from one of the news channels.

Maybe that was the video walk through I watched because there was yellow tape right there within feet of the end of the bridge walk over. I didn't realize that the ID channel wasn't widely broadcast. We've had ID for a long time here on the east coast. You're very welcome RIP. The whole segment was only around 15 mins long. Hopefully it will get posted to you tube.

Take care of your daughter, yourself, and the rest of your family first. I'm sure everyone here would do the same given the situation. Come back when things are better - we will survive and still be here!

Sorry if this has been posted but is there some way to compare the sketch in facial recognition or to get a more realistic sketch colored to compare?
Watchdog says FBI has access to about 640M photographs | WTOP

If LE had wanted to release a sketch in the form of coloured photograph I’m certain they have access to the technology. But a black and white police sketch isn’t a 100% depiction of the suspect so I think LE wouldn’t want to mislead people into thinking it is. The person who assisted the witness described it as a “ballpark likeness”.

If LE chose to utilize facial recognition software to scrub the Internet I don’t think they’d tell us. But indeed, good suggestion because that could be the very reason LE gets quite annoyed over the FB side-by-sides considering the automated technology has long been available as an investigative tool.

Maybe a domestic violence issue - verbal and/or physical - against a parent, sibling, partner? I don’t think it would be a frequent or ongoing issue as this would likely have put him on LE’s radar. But maybe a one-time outburst when things were particularly stressful.
I agree. I personally think the murders were the result of some old, deep-seated anger that BG has never resolved. I think he literally boiled over. JMO

I was trying to think what kind of evidence BG could have left behind. I guess it all depends on the way he actually killed the girls. DNA possibly, rope possibly, fiber, hair...

Not sure what else could have been left behind. We know for sure one thing he left behind or did not take with him and that is Libby's phone.... for cripes sake we've got an actual video of him and his voice which is to me the holly grail.

I feel that if LE had his DNA, did a familial search, it would not be hard to narrow down who BG is by now....they know what he looks like, they know what he sounds like, they know he is from the area (or so they say).

Something prompted the last big press conference, I'm convinced of it!! I had hoped it had something to do with DNA but now as time passes I'm not so sure.
Wasn't the video/audio recovered from her cloud? So, theoretically they didn't have her actual phone. Maybe BG smashed it, threw it in the water, etc.

No, it was recovered from her physical phone, which was found near the girls.

@mtnlites praying for your daughter.

I recorded “Still a Mystery” on ID about Abby and Libby, but am just now getting a chance to watch it. Actually, I’m only 5 minutes in, so I really hope I’m not repeating something (most likely am) that’s already been said, but this is the first time in these two years that I’ve heard it was Libby’s dad, who lived with them, that was suppose to pick them up. This may not mean anything, but I’ve always wondered who it was that was suppose to get them. I also never knew Libby’s dad lived with his parents? Now it has me wondering who knew he was going to pick them up? Just thinking out loud.

The ICAC task force extracted it I believe.

You're very welcome. It was broadcast last night but I couldn't watch it til this morning.

The little snippets interspersed here and there with ISP Carter talking at the April PC, seeing them like that, I swear everytime he mentions anything about the killer being from Delphi or maybe in the room, age group he looks to be directly looking to the right, at someone, at that moment, with purpose. Anyone else ever get that feeling?

He is looking to the left of him, mostly.

I have to believe that LE has carefully examined the circumstances of how they were to be picked up, as well as how they were dropped off.

Personally, I think he is mad. Not mentally ill, no, merely thinks like a deranged person. I don't believe he walks this strange all the time, but when he feels life has thrown him a curve, he starts limping and maybe, deep inside feels something is going to happen to him? MOO. Perhaps he dreamed of killing someone for quite a while, and wanted to try is before his "demise"? And of course, he is perfectly well, live and kickin', just delusional to the extreme. Again, MOO.

I think DC's allusion to the Shack was off-mark. The killer has no true faith, no remorse, no honesty, no courage. He just loves himself too much. Like toys, he broke the lives of two wonderful girls, orphaned their families, and now is hiding somewhere, like a coward.

Regarding if he pushed one girl off the bridge to control the other. I’m going to have to say the new addition of the audio “guys” refers to both girls (plural) so he had both girls going down the hill and did not push one off the bridge. MOO
Do we know if DTH was immediately preceded with "guys?" Its been my understanding that the released audio communication wasn't a solid, fluid string of conversation from BG. Meaning that there may have been other audio or lapses between "guys" and "down the hill."

Hmm... How strange, I always heard it being retrieved from the cloud?
