I'm going on memory but this was obviously heavily discussed back in the beginning and as I recall it was determined that it is not so far away or the bridge so high up etc that you would not be able to clearly see something. There's no person or car or anything, it would not be very tiny from the height of the bridge, you'd be able easily make it out. JMO

I do remember the shadows to Abby's left and rear being discussed I agree. It was discussed on Nancy Grace too IIRC but this is a shadow right way at the back near the posts, just slightly to the right and up above the height of the actual posts in the trees. I have never seen that highlighted before and was surprised. Just click on the photo and enlarge that are as much as you can. Maybe it is paradeolia, or whatever the word is but it does look like BG to me, albeit a big BG.

I'm just going crazy don't worry.

If I'm looking at the photo it's at what would be the narrow end of the bridge behind Abby, on the right of the bridge. It's a dark shadowy shape.

Could be something like a visual version of confirmation bias. My understanding of confirmation bias is, for example, if we lean conservative and follow more conservative media, it deepens our conservative nature. If we are liberal leaning and follow more liberal media we are likely to have our liberalism reinforced. Hence the widening of the divide. (We go to the media that reinforces our beliefs... We're not all watching Walter Cronkite anymore). So perhaps, having looked at the pic of BG on the bridge so much (as we all have scrutinized him, endlessly) it makes you see an image in the shadows of the bridge pic of Abby that makes you think of BG.

Well @tresir....if you really want to go there .....some people have made a point of stating that they believe that part of Abby's sweater is visible in the far left of this photo.

2:30 on video is what we assume, but he may have been on the bridge by 2:10.

I don't actually think the relative size is off. I think BG is very tall and thin, and it appears the shadow figure is standing on an elevation compared to the bridge - on a hillside or incline. what's hard to tell is if that incline is to the north, east, or south of the bridge entrance poles.

This is from the Heavy.com link in the media thread. From what I can see, the large shadow to the top right of the posts at the south end of the bridge looks too big and too high up to be BG IMO.

I do see what you mean about the shadow looking like BG though when you enlarge the SC as big as you can. It sure is spooky.

I think that image has been stretched/enlarged and the pixels are out of proportion. The image I found is smaller and when it's zoomed, the images of Abby and the shadow look more proportionate to each other. compare the Heavy image with the pdf I uploaded.

Potentially, there are tons of open-source, free genetic databases that are used in genealogy. If we are thinking a serial killer, what the criminologists need to do is just to put his DNA into the format used by one of major ancestry testing companies that all of these databases are compatible with, and then run through all of them. I don’t think anything is illegal when it comes to a potential serial killer.

Since so many of these killers start with torturing and killing domestic animals, such as dogs, cats, or bunnies, and then proceed to killing humans, what if the perp has a clean record, but used to kill animals, and now proceeded to humans? Would an animal + 2 humans make the person a serial killer? Should such a person be viewed as the SK? (I am not speaking about hunters or fishers, only about the ones who torture and murder animals, the common denominator among serial killers).

Researchers are also finding that just witnessing repeated animal cruelty when young, without participation, is enough to clear away a child's empathy and put them on a road to violence themselves. It's truly tragic when young minds are abused and influenced with such horrors.

I think it comes from the right at an angle but will post the trail map.

The trail coming from the right is the one that comes from the cemetery side of the creek along the north bank and the main trail is straight on. I'll try to post the map separately also below.

In the background the trail is straight for several hundred feet, then would have a gradual turn to fhe left, the spot where the girls were dropped off is on the curve. Then the trail heads west paralleling C. R. 300.

My hunch is the girls passed BG on the trail, which is about a quarter mile long. He already knew noone was ahead of the girls, and Kelsi mentioned in recent months noone was at the parking area/drop off point. So BG was, in my words, loitering and waiting for someone to follow and eventually attack.
