So I looked them up. They are thin, synthetic or woolen mixed with silk. Could be it. It would be interesting to find out who of the POIs had a Navy past, or maybe someone's family members served in the Navy? He could have grabbed something from a hanger. But the word "navy" is heard too many times to dismiss.

in one photo Abby is wearing a Navy beret, I’m not sure where to purchase something like this. Don’t believe it is military, just fashion accessory. Sorry unable to link photo.

IMO. I have often wondered if BG had stolen the items in his bulky jacket from one of the local homes.

Just read up on it. The prosecutor first had considered a 40 year plea deal for GK. He now says because of something having to do with the DNA evidence-he won't say what- he won't allow a plea and at trial will ask for life imprisonment. Why does the DNA matter-they know he killed Nicole. I think Possibly the DNA testing was Linked to Abby and Libby. Further-the "guys" comparison is right on and Nicole was brought to a shed.

He originally said he would consider additional charges for the other perps when DNA was back. So now one of the other perps (Garth from Delphi) has been also charged with murder so the DNA must be back IMO. Also, Kirts has been given another charge of assisting a murderer. It's complicated. I wish there was a way to help this case the thought of this monster celebrating another Christmas as a free coward next week whilst Abigail and Liberty’s families are suffering terribly makes me sick and incensed.

Just think of him in prison accused of another crime and it helps I find. MOO.

I looked the area up on the map and the houses are close together. Since it happened in warm weather, I'm surprised no one heard the cats screaming or saw dogs/coyotes running around.

IMO I think CM and GK fit better in this scenario.
(CM is GK’s clean up man in the Bowen case).
CM is 5’6” and GK is 5’10”
Both are the opposite end of the spectrum of what LE lists as BG’s height. GK’s “Guys” sounds like BG’s “Guys”
CM has reddish hair and is listed as red on his booking info. Going over some public info I noticed that CM did not have the neck tattoos in late 2016 I also noticed his hair was a lot like the “younger” sketch in late 2016. I mention the tattoos only because that’s something a witness might remember if it wasn’t covered.

Also in this scenario (two perps) perp one (GK) could leave back through the FB and the other (perp 2, CM) through the cemetery. Perp one could retrieve the vehicle in question and drive down W 300 N and pick up perp 2.

Let me just say, it has been said that allegedly FSG saw BG leaving towards the FB. However, Gray Hughes has stated in an older video (sorry can’t link it) that he had it on good authority that BG left through the cemetery. Who told him that info is anyone’s guess but he is close to the family. ‍ This discrepancy was a point of contention between him and AG/MK at one point.

The thought is coyotes. A few years back
we had a coyote hanging around our neighborhood. It was sighted three houses away from mine. There is a green belt behind our homes. Coyotes are quiet animals. l imagine the poor cats didn’t realize what was happening till it was to late.

If he or even a parent were adopted, a familial match would be a longshot. However, he probably isn't adopted; most people aren't.

I have been watching the YouTube videos Done b profiler John Kelly and I came up with a thought. I am sureness this has been discussed before, being that we are going on almost three years, but here goes....

Sounds like John Kelly is pretty convinced that BG used a gun to initially control the girls. What if quickly after getting the girls attention with the gun, what if he told the girls to use ziptips on each other's wrists? In terrain like that, it would be so easy to control someone at that point. It would only take a minute and they wouldn't be under his complete authority. How else could he control two young, athletic girls in such a quick time.

Not sure it really even matters, but maybe looking into recent purchases of zip ties in the area would help? Ugh....just wish I could come up with something to capture this sicko/sickos.

Haven't looked at Kirts in while. Glad to get the information. I am appalled at Indiana sentencing. With the 40 year sentence, it was likely he would get out in 10 years. That is just too little for what he did.

Dealing down every felony to a misdemeanor, Indiana has made a situation where criminals with extensive records are sentenced as if they had no real previous criminal record.

Ties would leave evidence on the body, so the police know if they were used even if removed. Yes, I think a zip tie left behind would be loaded with evidence.
From RI's "A lot of evidence" I think they are now suspicious of the evidence, they have a huge resource of police investigations to know what patterns are and when a CS is not looking like the real thing or is "odd" or "strange."
I saw FromGermany post that staging was motivated by two things:
1. self-preservation
2. shame.
Throwing off the investigation would be the reason in this case.
MOO saying the killer is local after an intensive national campaign indicates the CS was staged to look like a transient or non local serial killer did it. Maybe they believed that the killer was transient, or maybe the whole national campaign was intended to put the local killer off guard but it didn't work, so on 4/22 they changed direction and said "we are coming after you locally right here, right now."

Staging for the shame motive is usually occurs when a family member dies of suicide or during some act that would be shameful if public. The people finding the body re-dress, or move things around to avoid shame.

GK is one guy, in my opinion, that checks all the boxes for being a
suspect in this case.

I just can’t figure out why LE would have a PC talking to the killer “who may be in this room” three weeks after GK is arrested for another case unless at that point they hadn’t considered him.
Probably just wishful thinking on my part. We all want an arrest so bad. He seemed so perfect but yet can’t quite make him fit.
