Double post
Ooohhhh....good question Black Fox!Can anyone provide a list of large public events in Delphi - festivals, etc.?
The Pharos Tribune photographer was on the ground photographing searchers, not in the helicopter. So though his report is to be taken with a grain of salt, he apparently was close enough to make a determination of the type of clothing in the river.
Being from a not very agricultural area I'm just curious, would that type of thing being going on during the Winter months?

I think this was random, wrong place, do not believe Abby or Libby expected nor encouraged any one to meet them on that bridge! This was a true crime of opportunity and these young victims had no idea what was about to happen to them when they ventured out on a carefree day off from school to capture pics as they enjoyed their day off! The person who ended their innocent lives did so in a short amount of time which makes me believe this is not his first nor his last attack! He has a history, a DNA , we will get him!1. I think since crossing the creek was for privacy that he re-crossed the creek after he was finished committing the crime and walked directly south to the road that leads back to the meat factory.
2. It seems unlikely as he has not been caught yet.
3. No, I think it is unlikely because that assumes the sketches are a big help and I do not think they are helping. I do not think anyone knows who the killer is except for the killer. But someday Liberty German's video may help jog someone's memory.
4. Absolutely not if he is a truck driver, in my opinion.
5. Profiler John Douglas said it best: "You just don't wake up one morning and decide to commit double homicide." I think he has probably killed before and the fact that two girls were taken in Evansdale, Iowa is concerning in that regard.
6. Refer to answer 5.
7. No, I do not think he knew them or else at some point in the recording I think Libby would have said his name to help police.
8. I do not believe he is local to Delphi so no. In terms of his own community, that is speculation that does not matter to me. Killers comes from all walks of life.
9. I think he travels a lot like a truck driver and has gotten to know hiking trails and forest preserves well.
10. Yes
11. No
12. No
Not necessarily agricultural machinery, but one of Agatha Christie’s types who are so close you can hear them, but don’t notice them.
I remember the mailman and the local constable.
And the real SK in Australia- the Telstra driver, the so-called “Claremont killer”.
So we can make a list (I would add avid photographers to it because the camera obscures one’s face) of the people who are “around, but not noticeable”.
Is the BG from that group? I don’t know, but it is logical.
Another group these days - people who sell you cellphones or computers. There are quite a few outlets around, and the people working there are nice, but I shall never remember their faces because I look at their goods.
Any profession in which the vendor has to look at you and persuade you to buy the stuff (as it is expensive), like cars or jewelry, or even clothes, I shall remember better.
I’d say if there is a big warehouse-type store, like Costco or BJ club, or even farmers technology sold in a warehouse...these workers would be constantly around, yet invisible.
ETA: as everyone thinks he is a hunter and a fisherman, I wonder if he has a hunter’s/fisherman’s store, or even a gun shop. Nothing against guns, I merely think he is a gun/knives collector, and a store allows you to keep your collection out of the house, and make money on what you collect.
Yes. From what I've seen, many farmers bring their machinery into storage areas to protect it from the elements. Repairs can then be done inside.
When I reposed my story about the two murders in my small town, the farm machinery repair man committed one of the murders in winter.
We drove by the body; she was just lying there in the driveway. There was snow on the ground; LE matched his footprints to his footwear when building their case against him.
Since it seems to be LEs hunch that, when this is solved, folks are gonna say: "Yeah. That makes sense"....that seems to rule out SK, imho.
I just do not see SK making sense to anybody. Ever.
We quite likely all are on the wrong track, is what I am saying.
I tend to agree with you. IMO, BG had some connection to one or both girls. I cannot fathom that this was a random encounter with a stranger who just happened to be on the trail that day, and had never known of the girls before. The ONLY way I would buy that would be if BG was a lunatic / psychopath / serial killer in the making.
I keep coming back to the cases of Jayme Closs and Alicia Kozakiewicz. A pervert set his sights on one of the girls. In Jayme’s case, there was a connection, she just didn’t know it (bus stop). Alicia was met online.
LE has indicated BG is local or familiar with the area. Someone connected to the girls, maybe casually. Someone the girls knew personally, or in an authority position. Someone who felt potential humiliation at their hands. Or uncontrolled lust, or even spite (incel).
The longer the case drags on, the more I believe the likely answer will be simple and basic. Murdered by someone they knew or had been in contact with online. IMO
And again I’m reminded about footprints, which LE must have for the BG. From prints they know shoe size and maybe exact shoe, at least shoe and sole type, maybe brand, maybe any injuries or oddities, and probably lots more.
Why not release? If the goal of the sketch and the pleas is to get family members to realize someone they suspect but are in denial of suspecting really may be the BG, shoe info could help.
I can’t imagine false confessions would result. Perhaps false accusations, but that train already left the station.
What don’t I understand about why they can’t release basic shoe size and type?

I don't know what the attendance is like at any of these events, though.
I can't agree with your logic. If the girls had had prior contact with BG, that would have made the case easier to solve.I tend to agree with you. IMO, BG had some connection to one or both girls. That it hasn't been solved argued against prior contact.

Prior connection doesn’t necessarily require contact. Consider the Jayme Closs case.
