That is a pretty startling response and no wonder it stuck with you. So what is the difference between the sisters that one is not afraid and the other one was so indispensable to BG.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation, GBI, is a statewide investigatory agency. They are called in by local LE when needed. They assist in most major crimes in GA because the majority of counties in GA, 159 counties in total, are small and lack the investigative capacities to complete an investigation. I think most crime scene evidence goes through one of the GBI labs. GBI is very good.

They have a number of specialities and I think analyzing electronics is one of them. Our local PD also had them come in and evaluate a cold case murder to see if they could find overlooked clues and suggest new investigative options. They also have a very good lab.

It was posted and discussed here at WS on July 9, 2019.

She mentions it at the 51:08 mark.

When asked if she feels safe, she says, “Yeah , I feel safe. Umm..listen, if he was the person he is, he's not gonna come after me."

When someone comments on this in the chat, Kelsi personally responds to the comment and clarifies her statement.

Mainly, this about Libby being the intended target.
To my knowledge LE has never made that statement.
If that is inaccurate, please guide me to the source of the information.
I believe what has been floated out there is a pretty observant thought that Libby was more likely to have been targeted because she was much more outgoing and used social media more actively than Abby did.
Libby had more of a social presence overall.. and from that , I suppose that there are those that would assume it would be more likely that she would be targeted.
Also, to clarify. the rumor that Libby "took the brunt" of the attacks is just that- a rumor.
We (as far as I know) have no verified proof that she was assaulted more or less than Abby was.
These things have cycled in Social Media.. but, we have to be careful with separating facts from theories and theories from gossip.

well, I'm not privy to the details of the investigation and whether they took and analyzed her computer and phone, but you seem adamant that they didn't so perhaps you have insider information into the investigation that I do not. It's hard to believe that they have not gone down these avenues in the three years they've had but I suppose it's possible.

IMO if it seems Kelsey knows more than we do, It's probably because she does, but from her role as the family member of a victim and some things LE has shared with family but not the public. She has insider information that we do not but not because she had anything to do with the crime.

Maybe if I have the time, I can make a transcript. To me it sounded like the police knew, or guessed, at least, who and why. I personally think that the community is NOT safe.

When the discovery of the girls bodies first happened, LE believed that the case would be solved quickly.
They believed that there was enough evidence to bring someone to justice in a short time period.
It could also be that (MOO) due to eyewitness accounts and similar crimes, they DID have someone in mind originally, and that (IMOO) is why the told the public that there was no reason for them to be overly cautious, and to carry on a usual.
After their initial investigation did NOT lead to an arrest, things changed.
I don't know for sure, but I don't think that they would have stated the same thing given hindsight is 20/20.

LE has not said if the DNA and fingerprints belong to BG or not.
As far as the voice recording—the clips are so short and sound like a generic male voice, I can’t imagine anyone would say with certainty, “That’s ______!” My guess is that even if a person thought it was someone they knew, they probably wouldn’t feel comfortable turning someone in over 4 words. I also strongly feel that there is someone out there who, without a doubt, knows who BG is. I think that person has either been voluntarily covering for him or hasn’t come forward out of fear. JMO obviously, but I just can’t fathom not a single person knowing who this guy is. I wouldn’t even be surprised if multiple people know who he is.

She is just so adorable, and Libby just looked so much like her.
I get such a profound sadness watching her video, but I am impressed with her determination. What a great young woman.

She seemed to indicate that she thinks she has a pretty good idea of who the Perp is, and she's not afraid of him. This is really very interesting. And I believe her - she can take care of herself and is likely packing; it's legal in Indiana with a permit. I would be!

Well I hope the confidence Kelsi portrays is an indication that LE is on the right trail. I know we are all eager to see this cowardly loser publicly humiliated and locked up for the rest of his worthless life. We need a special law for these heinous murders where we give them an option - they can euthanize themselves, or they get chain gang for life. So yeah, maybe harsh but our criminal punishment today doesn't seem to be much of a deterrent.
