I'm still amazed by how much detail some people can get from the blurry photos of BG. Wish my eyesight was that good.

I'm new here, but someone on reddit suggest I post this here. I enhanced the brightness of the photo, after going frame by frame. Does anyone else think he is wearing a graphic ringer shirt?

I trust Leazenby. He is not going to be either promoted or demoted because of this case. There is a certain job security in his position.

Now, if any police officer involved in investigation gets too high or too low, this will be interesting. So far, I saw only one major promotion. And Ives left, returned and left again.
Ives left again? link?

I’m sure this has been stated before, but I think the change in course came from DNA evidence. Things like age, hair color and eye color “not blue” seem to be things that could be determined by advanced DNA technology. I think they got this feedback from the lab and then looked back at the old sketch (and realized their first sketch did not match). This is why I believe the change in sketches. It also possibly points to degraded dna or tips their hand in terms of dna and I think this is why they have never clearly explained why the change of sketches.

MOO

I've wondered about the 'eyes not blue' on sketch #1. I would think someone would be fairly close to note the eye color. Someone that close should notice if their trousers were wet (from crossing the creek) or any significant blood if a knife was used. Unless the POI was seen BEFORE the murders and not after.

AFAIK every state has a version of a felony murder statute. That means if you are engaged in the commission of a felony and someone dies, everyone involved can be charged with murder. So during a robbery gone bad that results in a death, the getaway car driver can also be charged with murder since he was involved in the felony that lead to the murder. It's not the same as an accessory or accomplice as those people are usually involved after-the-fact and not in the actual felony/murder.
So it is a Federal law? And the states more or less have to comply with it?
And thank you so much for clarifying instead of yelling at me. :D

are there any sick pathetic vile, sex clubs in Delphi that use prostitutes or weird swinger clubs? clubs where professionals seek younger girls ? judges or officers or lawyers or professionals? if there are I would haul them in for questioning
I hate to say this, but if there are any places like that, most likely very few, if any people, outside the attendees know such a place exists.

I honestly hear BG accent all the time in KY. "Gaahs" is more Virginia drawl. KY really does have a twang. But I don't think he is from Ky - it makes much more sense he is from Indiana.
Also depends on where in Kentucky you’re from because the accents vary all over the place. Likely the same in Indiana and Ohio too. IMO

Hey everyone,

We can't just plop any random person's name on the board for discussion as a POI unless they have been officially named a POI or suspect by law enforcement OR unless a thread specific exception has been made by Tricia or Admin. At this time there are no thread specific exceptions.

You may do your own sleuthing in the background and/or discuss your own POIs with others in private messaging but not on the thread.

Thanks.

the "not blue" always bothered me...who said it and why? deception?

Do you know if Paul Holes listened to the rest of the audio? I wonder how involved he is with this case.

I used to think there were two perps, but now I’m not so sure. If there were two, wouldn’t the second one be heard on the audio? I would think if a second person was heard, LE would let the public know, but then again they seem to keep so much close to the vest, maybe they wouldn’t.
I cannot fathom that there were two unless one of them is dead and if so likely at the hands of the other. IMO

I don’t think anything has been suggested that makes me believe there were two people involved. As far as LE and the decision to not release any further audio, I think if there was anything to suggest two perps or a minor, they would have said so immediately.

People would have disregarded possible suspects because they were with a minor or another person that day. They would have lost potential tips, especially if it was a minor, and been able to drastically narrow the number of people they had to investigate based on those tips, if they knew suspect was with a minor or another person. It wouldn’t make sense at all imo.
It would be interesting to be privy to any other teenagers and their parents info on who was supposed to be there and actually seen there that day. IMO I would like to think LE knows what kids were there and confirmed by other trustworthy sources.

I agree that a reconstruction might be a good thing. Crimewatch UK ran from late 1980's until 2017. They managed to re-enact crimes without giving away vital evidence. In the case of Jamie Bulger, the two boys who abducted him were identified by viewers. I could name many more cases that had a good outcome. They have also had witnesses and relatives of the deceased appeal for information on the show and it led to further information that they were involved. In another case Tracie Andrews clutched the hand of her boyfriend's mother and appealed for witnesses in the stabbing of her boyfriend. She said that it was a road rage incident. However it was proven, due to tips received, she had in fact murdered him herself. So I don't think there is anything to lose in having witnesses speak at a press conference.
She murdered him herself? Oh my gosh. I've heard of this situation in other cases, but not for it to become known thru these circumstances. wow.

Thanks. Appreciate that. Do you think LE know his movements straight after he commited the crime?
I just think it can be surprising sometimes which memories you can invoke by producing a reconstruction.
If for instance they think the perpetrator crossed the Freedom bridge during his escape then that may jog the memory of someone travelling underneath it. Maybe they have evidence of him crossing a field a distance away from the trails. That may jog another memory. The smallest detail can sometimes have huge impacts.
I get that they are trying to preserve info for the good of the possible case but we are now 3+ years down the line. This thing needs a change of tact imo.
I do believe someone is going to get to the point that they place one missing piece, one detail, and it's going to bring it all together and solve the case. You may have that missing piece.
