I'm at the point where I think the video merely indicates the killer was on the bridge, at a given time.

There's virtually nothing to pull from it which would help identify the killer.

I will take a case with video any day over one without it. Because of Liberty German's video, thought I saw a truck driver one time that was wearing the exact same clothing. Maybe that was not the answer, but I think the video she got helps the case.

Many times truck drivers that pick up at cold storage facilities will dress warm when they go onto the dock. This is because it is cold inside the warehouse facility.

I agree the video is too pixelated to make out any description of any one individual, but I thought the clothing was important. I think good investigators consider possibilities, no matter how remote they might seem, as long as they are based on some sort of evidence. This is different from looking at Liberty German's video and coming to the conclusion that it might be a farmer or trying to make anyone who owns a blue jacket similar to the one in the video out to be a person of interest.

And I also understand that maybe I am doing the same thing, seeing the clothing and thinking it must be a truck driver, even though I cannot explain where he parked his truck. But my conclusion is based on at least some sort of clothing evidence and experience from what I have seen over the years.

I will take a case with video any day over one without it. At least with video you have a place to start. You can establish some sort of timeline. You can establish some type of general description of the person you are looking for. You can establish a general location. Without video, you are left coming up with random conclusions. And in many of those cases without video, you have no place to start.

I thought of a truck driver too, especially with the meat packing plant right there. My neighbor is a truck driver, big rig. He takes his personal car to the site of where the rig is and then parks his car and takes the rig over state. Some times he brings it home, but not often. So he could have gone on a run or delivery, left his personal car at a plant or near by and then returned. Or was heading out that day. So I wouldn't toss that idea aside. Since the murders, he may have quit his job, or got a different route. But we can't connect the dots until we have all the dots to connect. The two things you know for sure are the picture of him in the video and his voice.

Delphi murders: Video's virtual walkthrough shows suspect, Abby and Libby

Maybe this technology used in an app called CrimeDoor can solve crimes like the Feb. 13, 2017, Delphi killings of Libby German and Abby Williams by putting the public on the Monon High Bridge on that winter afternoon.

“This is an app that is going to help so many people and change the perspective of crime," Kelsi German, Libby's older sister, said, "and hopefully, solve cases and get arrests for many unsolved cases.”

reviews are not good .. i read one about their representation of the case and it was called sloppy and useless

Unfortunately I think many cases that remain unsolved over the years follow the same pattern. Cases that are not solved within the first few months seldom are. And those that you hear about today that have been solved after 20, 30, 40 years even, the vast majority were not solved because the police caught up to the suspect, but because technology caught up to the suspect.

Sometimes in a case you can have too much information that it is hard to know what information to follow. I submitted a description tip as I am sure probably thousands of other people have submitted description tips based on either Liberty German's video, sketch #1, or sketch #2. Who is correct? Are the police correct about their sketches or is there a tip that correctly identifies the man on the bridge in Liberty German's video? We simply do not know.

Yes, this case is probably going to need a lucky break if it gets solved soon without having to wait for years. If this case is ever solved, I think that person is probably going to look nothing like either sketch, but will probably be closer in age to the older one. And they will probably only have a loose connection to Delphi, IN whether they were traveling through the area or visiting.
Closer in age to the older one when he is arrested or closer in age to the older one right now?

why do I feel like we are just waiting around for two more murdered girls and a bridge somewhere?

wonder how covid might affect availability of ideal victims for BG?

I think he has his methods, we don't know what they are, and LE doesn't know who he is at all. he's secretive and a no man. I think he is responsible for Evansdale ... I think he is practiced at luring and isolating girls and is using the internet too ...can we all agree this is terrifying ? mOO.
Has anyone wondered if Covid has personally, negatively & directly affected BG, himself?

There's no way to know. He could have died in a car accident; we wouldn't know. If he is dead, then he will likely never be identified.

Why doesn't KG as an insider think, the app is useless?

I think, BG isn't stupid and he also knows, which clothing truck drivers are wearing. Add to it the fact, MHB area is rather close to IP company, he might have thought, it would be a fitting disguise, if he dressed like a truck driver.
It can be, his father had a job as a truck driver and BG was known to the average clothing anyway.

I dont think she knows anything about it.. i think she was asked by paul holes or others.. I would also say that to get to the delphi part you have to pay money....
I consider this to be very ethically questionable .. the same as turning true crime into entertainment for money

A new video on the Delphi murders was posted on YouTube yesterday, Oz time (January 16) which contains interviews with Abby’s mother but mostly with Libby’s mother. They just tell their stories - it’s not a Q & A session. I found it very moving and hard to watch at times.

Start @ 12:16 through to 31:00
32:10 to 33:29
36:30 to 37:13
37:24 to the end

Libby’s mother gives her opinions on the initial search, tips and nearby property owners.

I’m not posting a link as it’s part of a series that won’t be from an approved YT source, and the above times do not include highly irrelevant, IMO, parts.

I watched it too and also thought the interview parts were very powerful. We discuss bits and pieces of this case but the families’ pain is real. Sometimes I need to be reminded of that.

Also folks who work on farms or in animal husbandry might dress like that.

I think he was disguised to a degree, that day. Either the entire time he was there or he changed his appearance some before putting the wheels in motion to abduct the girls, could be the clothing came from flea markets or any number of other sources around here (central IN). I doubt he dresses like that when he's "out and about", the shell jacket is more "work wear", to me.

Does anyone else think the video preview of the app is creepy or is it just me? I think it would be a great tool for law enforcement, but I think to have it available to the general public could be stimulating to some predators or even the suspect himself. It places the viewer in the perspective of BG as he approaches the girls (and also the perspective of the girls as he approaches). The girls' facial features are eerily realistic. IMO

I think the app needs some work. However, it is one additional tool, which may be used in future investigations and so forth, once it is finer tuned.

Closer in age to the older one when he is arrested or closer in age to the older one right now?

Hopefully this will be a little clearer. I think the man on the bridge will look more like the 1st sketch that was released if he gets arrested. The 2nd sketch looks like a 20 year old person with a very young face so I totally disregard that one. I think at the time the crime was committed he would have been at least 50 years old. I think even if he does not end up being that old in terms of age, he will have a face that makes him look 50 years old.

I disregard both of the sketches because I do not think they are true representations of the man on the bridge. Also, most sketches do not feature clothing, except for hats, so I go off of Liberty German's phone video.

Is the man on the bridge a truck driver anymore than a person who likes hiking trails? I do not know, but I think truck driver, specifically reefer truck driver, is a possibility based on walking along the trail and body temperature warming up. This made me think his clothing is for more than just hiking, like work clothes. But there are many trucks and many roads. There are many states and many truck drivers. And at the place I worked at, trucks also drove and made deliveries to provinces in Canada too. So without a name it is only another possibility.
